Indian government approves formation of alliance aimed at conserving big cats around

Threatened by climate change, the big cat population across the world is on a decline. The india-headquartered international big cat alliance aims to change that. The multi-country, multi-agency alliance will facilitate interanational cooperation over conservation efforts. The Indian government has also pledged a budget of $18 million for the alliance.
