India has officially ended the transshipment facility that allowed Bangladeshi export cargo to move through Indian ports. The CBIC issued a circular terminating the policy following demands from Indian exporters. The move comes just days after remarks made by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus during a visit to China. However, exports to Nepal and Bhutan remain unaffected.
