India: Amit Shah to table 3 key bills for removal of PMs, CMs on criminal charges

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to introduce three major bills in the Lok Sabha to allow the removal of the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, and Ministers if arrested on serious criminal charges. The proposed laws target those in custody for 30+ days on offenses punishable with 5+ years in jail.
