A sudden spring snowstorm has slammed northern Russia, cutting off key transport links and plunging an entire city back into winter conditions. The city of Khanty-Mansiysk faced near-isolation after a powerful snowstorm swept through the region, bringing blizzard conditions and hurricane-force winds in the middle of spring.
