Germany: Munich Airport Closed Again, Pilot Blames Drone Sightings
Munich Airport in Germany suspended flights for the second time in 24 hours following additional unconfirmed drone sightings. In a statement issued Friday evening, the airport announced that operations were halted at 9:30 PM local time (8:30 PM GMT), impacting around 6,500 passengers. The disruption follows a similar incident on Thursday evening, when at least 17 flights were grounded due to multiple drone sightings in the surrounding airspace.
