French journalist abducted in Mali appears in video asking for help

A French journalist, who disappeared last month in Mali's northern city of Gao appeared in a video on Wednesday appealing to authorities to work for his release. He also said that he had been kidnapped in early April by a jihadist group with links to Al-Qaeda.
