'Freedom can't wait': Hundreds march in Paris to call for closure of slaughterhouses

Animal rights activists splattered buckets of red liquid on a Paris monument on Saturday (June 8) to demand the closure of slaughterhouses in the country. The protesters doused the notable monument at the French capital's Place de la Republique square with red fluid which meant to symbolize the blood of animals killed to produce meat.
