China, Russia forge stronger ties at the SCO summit

The meeting between old friends Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit showed a solidifying alliance between both sides. Moreover, China has leaned towards Russia and against the West since Russia invaded Ukraine.
