ChatGPT experienced a brief outage today, disrupting responses and access across devices, especially on mobile. The issue began around noon and lasted over an hour, according to Downdetector.
While OpenAI hasn’t officially addressed the glitch, ChatGPT told users it “wasn’t down myself”, implying a temporary service hiccup rather than a full-scale failure.
Social media was quick to react, with users joking about their dependence on AI tools. Some also found that browser switching resolved the issue.
