Bipin Joshi, a 22-year-old Nepalese student who heroically saved his classmates during the Hamas attack on Israel’s Kibbutz Alumim on October 7, 2023, has died in captivity after more than two years as a hostage in Gaza. He was the only non-Israeli and Hindu believed to be held alive. His body was returned to Israel as part of a recent Gaza ceasefire deal, confirmed by Nepal’s ambassador.
