Asia's manufacturing activity ended 2023 on a weak note

Asia's manufacturing sector had a poor year-end to 2023 as demand for the goods produced in the region was depressed by a weak global economy. According to S&P Global's manufacturing PMI data released on Tuesdays, much of Asia experienced a slowdown in new orders and output as input costs increased.
