Storms and flash floods wreaked havoc on Baghlan province in northern Afghanistan, killing at least 311 people, according to local officials. The natural disaster affected the districts of Gozargah-e-Noor, Jelgah, Nahrin, Baghlan-e-Markazi, and Barka, as well as the provincial capital of Pul-e-Khumri, according to Hedayatullah Hamdard, Provincial Director for the disaster management authority, on Friday.
