<p>It was sent from London on the evening of Saturday, May 2, to a 35-year-old manager of an iron works, William Blenkinsop Jr., in Dalston, Cumbria, 75 miles to the west of London. Although the original sender remains unknown, the markings on the envelope reveal a journey of over 300 miles.</p>

<p>“I think within 10 years of this being introduced in 1840 in England, the&nbsp;mail&nbsp;went from 75 million pieces annually to 350 million pieces annually. So, it was, it was incredibly popular,” Austin said. “This is really one of the first great leaps forward in human communication.”</p>

<p>Sotheby’s estimates it could sell for between $1.5 million and $2.5 million.</p>

As per one allegation, the 70-year-old ex-lawyer also continued to act as an advocate and charge fees from clients even after he was expelled from the law firm.</p>

<p>Singh used to work with Gurdaib Cheong &amp; Partners (GCP) law firm. Last July, Singh pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal breach of trust involving nearly SGD 459,000 and an offence under the Legal Profession Act. A third breach of trust charge was also considered during the sentencing.</p>

<h2><strong>Charges against the ex-lawyer</strong></h2>

<p>In December 2010, Zulkifli Osman hired GCP to help sell his late father's flat. The flat was sold in July 2011, and GCP got over SGD 356,000 from the sale for Zulkifli. Zulkifli and Singh agreed that Zulkifli's brother would get SG$ 138,876.50 from the total sum.</p>

<p>Zulkifli put SG$ 138,876 into GCP's account for his brother on December 15, 2011. But between December 2011 and May 2012, Singh used Zulkifli's money for other things without permission, for instance, office expenses.</p>

<p>Deputy Public Prosecutor Norman Yew said, “Between November 18 and December 23, 2014, Singh misappropriated the money and used it to pay for items such as GCP's office expenses.”</p>

<p>However, the incident did not lead to anything until seven years later. In 2021,&nbsp;Georgia resident&nbsp;Ano<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Sartania received a TikTok video showing a woman with blue hair, bearing a shocking resemblance to her.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Ano attempted to trace Amy and after gruelling efforts, she got connected to her long-lost sister on Facebook.</p>

<p>"I have been looking for you for so long!" she messaged. "Me too," replied Ano.&nbsp;</p>

<p>At this stage, both did not know they were sisters but the similarities in face, music, dance, art, food and everything became too impossible to ignore. It was also discovered they had the same genetic disease, a bone disorder called dysplasia.</p>

<p>"Every time I learned something new about Ano, things got stranger," Amy told BBC.</p>

<p>An Oklahoma Highway Patrol officer was tossed into the air as he conducted a traffic stop and another vehicle smashed into the stationary car near Interstate 40. The incident took place last Thursday (Jan 18) when Trooper Jesse Gregory was speaking to the driver of the car he had earlier pulled over. As he spoke, another car came from behind and smashed into the standing car, throwing the officer away onto the grass way on the side. A dashcam footage of the incident has now gone viral on the internet.</p>

<p>The video shows both vehicles&nbsp;heavily damaged in the incident.</p>

<p>Francl, a chemistry professor at Bryn Mawr College in the US state of Pennsylvania, also weighed&nbsp;in on some divisive topics in Britain, like whether to put the milk in first or not. She says adding warm milk after pouring the tea prevents it from curdling.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Addressing the media reports, the US embassy in London said that an “American professor’s recipe for the ‘perfect’ cup of tea has landed our special bond with the United Kingdom in hot water.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>It added, “Tea is the elixir of camaraderie, a sacred bond that unites our nations. We cannot stand idly by as such an outrageous proposal threatens the very foundation of our Special Relationship.”</p>

<p>They went on vacations and bought expensive jewellery, luxury handbags, cosmetic dentistry, clothing, and items for home renovations. They also might have purchased a Range Rover car using some of the funds.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They had shut down the exchange on November 1.&nbsp;</p>
