Climate activist <a href="https://www.wionews.com/india-news/greta-thunberg-steals-the-spotlight-at-davos-summit-276455">Greta Thunberg</a> has applied to register her name and her global campaign ''<a href="https://www.wionews.com/photos/who-is-greta-thunberg-275649">Fridays For Future</a>'' which she had founded in 2018.

The 17-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to express her annoyance and to inform her followers of the future course of action of her campaign.

"My name and the #FridaysForFuture movement are constantly being used for commercial purposes without any consent whatsoever," she wrote in a post she shared her Instagram account.

She complained that "there are still people who are trying to impersonate me or falsely claim that they 'represent' me in order to communicate with high profile people, politicians, media, artists etc."

There had also been incidents of marketing, selling products and collection of money "in my and the movement's name," she wrote.

The key issues behind India's decision not to be part of RCEP included inadequate protection against import surge, insufficient differential with China, possible circumvention of rules of origin, keeping the base year as 2014 and no credible assurances on market access and non-tariff barriers.

The RCEP is a proposed free trade agreement (FTA) between the ten member-states of ASEAN and FTA partners.

"We are moving in the right direction," Le Maire told Reuters TV at the World Economic Forum in the Swiss ski resort of&nbsp;Davos&nbsp;on Thursday, adding that he thought&nbsp;France&nbsp;was close to striking an agreement with the United States.

But Paris and Washington failed to agree on Wednesday on how to push forward on a deal that involves a rewriting of decades-old cross-border tax rules. They did, however, agree to set aside their squabbling as they work on the&nbsp;global&nbsp;initiative.

This is being led by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (<a href="https://www.wionews.com/business-economy/oecd-hails-india-reforms-pegs-62-growth-in-2020-264158">OECD</a>), a Paris-based club of wealthier economies.

OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurria has been working for years on finding ways to create a level playing field on digital taxation, but those efforts are now being accelerated to see if an agreement can be reached by December.

Speaking on a panel at the <a href="https://www.reutersconnect.com/all?id=tag%3Areuters.com%2C2020%3Anewsml_KBN1ZM1C7%3A1&amp;search=slug%3ADAVOS-MEETING-DIGITALTAX">World Economic Forum</a> with Le Maire, Gurria said he was hopeful of having a framework that would apply to more than 130 countries drafted by July. "We have no Plan B we just have to get it done," he said.

Recently, US President Donald Trump departed for Davos and the White House has revealed a list of leaders he is slated to meet at the forum. These include Iraqi President Barham Salih, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyenand Klaus Schwab, the leader of the World Economic Forum.

As he was leaving for Davos, Trump tweeted, ''Heading to Davos, Switzerland, to meet with world and business leaders and bring good policy and additional hundreds of billions of dollars back to the united states of America! We are now number one in the universe, by far!!''

Davos is also bracing for Trump-Greta showdown as climate change tops the agenda of the forum. This is the first time the two will face each other after the teenager stared Trump down at the United Nations.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump will be receiving the Swiss Army Security amid the climate protesters trek to Davos.

"We will see what he (trump) will tell us here, of course. We are looking very much forward because this is a global conference. We are putting a lot of emphasis on dealing with global issues. And the climate is the key global issue at this moment", said Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum.

The president touting the strength of the US economy at the WEF said during his presidency seven million new jobs were created.
