Rudakubana was earlier charged with murder and attempted murder over the stabbing spree.&nbsp;

Kennedy also added in the statement that the new charges against the teenage boy were for producing a poison named ricin, and "possessing information...likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism."

The stabbings sparked unrest and riots in more than a dozen English towns and cities in the week, with authorities blaming misinformation over the identity of the alleged attacker.

In their statement on Tuesday, police stressed that the stabbing has not been declared a terror act and cautioned against speculation.

"At this time, Counter Terrorism Policing has not declared the attack on Monday (July 29) a terrorist incident," the statement said.

A UK judge on Monday jailed notorious far-right agitator Tommy Robinson for 18 months after he admitted committing contempt of court over a long-running libel case involving a Syrian refugee.

The sentence is the latest jail term for one of Britain's most prominent anti-Muslim activists, who is blamed for helping fuel anti-immigration riots earlier this year.

It came after Robinson -- whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon -- pleaded guilty earlier on Monday to 10 breaches of a 2021 High Court order.

It bars the 41-year-old far-right figurehead from repeating false allegations he had made about the Syrian refugee, who successfully sued him for libel.

Handing down the 18-month jail sentence at Woolwich Crown Court in southeast London, judge Jeremy Johnson said Robinson's actions were a "planned, deliberate, direct, flagrant breach of the court's orders".&nbsp;

"Nobody is above the law. Nobody can pick and choose which injunctions they obey and those they do not," the judge added.

"It is in the interests of the whole community that injunctions are obeyed."

Robinson had turned himself in to police on Friday, after an arrest warrant was issued following his failure to appear for a July court hearing on the case.

Lawyers for the Solicitor General, a senior government post advising on legal matters and which pursues such cases, said during the hearing that Robinson had been "thumbing his nose at the court".&nbsp;

<h2>An anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant&nbsp;</h2>

The court accused him of "undermining" the rule of law, including&nbsp;helping to publish a film called "Silenced", which contains the libellous allegations.

The film remains pinned to the top of Robinson's profile on the social media site X.

The former football "hooligan", who helped form the now-defunct far-right English Defence League in 2009, had landed himself back in court because of his "principles", his lawyers argued.&nbsp;

On Saturday, thousands of his supporters and other protesters marched through central London demanding his release, as well as tougher immigration laws.

Robinson, who has reportedly spent recent months outside the UK, has amassed a large online following built around his vehemently anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant messaging.&nbsp;

Demonstrators at anti-immigrant riots which erupted across England and Northern Ireland in late July and early August could be heard chanting his name.

He was widely condemned for a stream of social media posts during the week of violence, which was sparked by false rumours that the suspect behind the fatal stabbings of three young girls was a Muslim asylum seeker.

He has been a familiar sight at far-right rallies over the years, but has seen his profile grow over the last year after his X account was reinstated following billionaire Elon Musk's purchase of the platform.

Robinson repeated all the allegations against him after losing the case against Jamal Hijazi.

Hijazi, a Syrian man, was filmed while being attacked at a school in West Yorkshire. The video went viral on social media after which Robinson claimed in his Facebook videos that Hijazi was "not innocent." Surana came into the spotlight after he picked up the national flag from the road and defied the attack by extremists at the Indian High Commission in the United Kingdom last year.&nbsp;

Surana said that just 12 hours before the voting was about to start, someone launched a very 'well-planned' campaign targetting him. He added that in the campaign he was called a 'fascist' and linked with the Bharatiya Janata Party.&nbsp;

The Indian student, who hails from Pune, practised at the Bombay High Court for some months and has been pursuing an LLM at the London School of Economics.

Speaking about the complete set of incidents, the Indian student said that the LSE elections were announced in February and early March. He had filed his nomination for the post of general secretary.

"From March 14-15, we noticed that my posters were being ripped off, torn. We complained to the authorities. After we replaced our posters, on March 16, we saw that some posters were defaced. There were crosses on my face, it was written 'anyone but Satyam'. I was cancelled out," said Satyam, while speaking to the news agency ANI.

"On March 17 afternoon, there were messages in all groups of LSE. Indian groups, law school groups. The messages claimed, 'This Satyam Surana is a BJP supporter, he is a fascist person, an Islamophobe, transphobe'. The messages were so seditious and contentious of the Indian government and the current establishment," he said.

He further alleged that screenshots of his posts on X were taken by radical elements, in which he had appreciated the BJP government, and added that those screenshots were used with a malicious agenda to call him a "fascist".

He added that no political points were added to his manifesto which just contained the genuine issues on campus. Although he initially received overwhelming support, the hate campaign&nbsp;derailed his chances.

"With my entire team, I went through the entire campus. We were reaching out across departments and explaining our policies. I had a very well-written and well-drafted manifesto, which was not at all political. It said how things need improvement at LSE, how there is a need for a grievance redressal portal,&nbsp;having subsidised food on campus. We were getting support and people were saying that they would vote for me," said Satyam.

"But, out of the three people, it was only me who was targeted randomly. When these messages started coming, my entire team was shocked, we were in a dilemma, and the entire moral conscience of the team was shattered," he said.

He further claimed that those targetting him are not able to digest the development and success of India under the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"The people of the international community are not aware of what is going on in India. Every international person is looking up to India and looking up to the current Prime Minister as a stalwart legendary politician. Our Prime Minister has the highest approval rating in the entire world, we have shown what we can do during COVID-19, and we are emerging as the third-largest economy. But, sadly these groups who can't digest this fact are spreading not misinformation, but disinformation," he said.

United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Sunday (Oct 1) shot down the plan by&nbsp;British defence minister Grant Shapps who said that the&nbsp;government of Britain will be deploying military instructors in Ukraine, saying that it is not&nbsp;for the “here and now”.

Sunak's remarks come after&nbsp;Shapps,&nbsp;in a newspaper interview, suggested&nbsp;that they would "eventually"&nbsp;like to move&nbsp;Britain’s long-standing training of Ukrainian troops to their country&nbsp;rather than in the UK.&nbsp;

However, the UK PM said&nbsp;he wanted to be "absolutely clear"&nbsp;about the situation after "some misreporting" and said that Britain has been&nbsp;training Ukrainian citizens and soldiers for a long time within the UK.&nbsp;

"What the Defence Secretary was saying was that it might well be possible one day in the future for us to do some of that training in Ukraine," said Sunak.&nbsp;

A five-week military training course was provided by Britain to nearly 20,000 Ukrainians in the past year, and the country now aims to train a similar number in days ahead.

While speaking to the Sunday Telegraph newspaper in an interview, Shapps said that they can provide military training within Ukraine after holding a discussion with British military chiefs on Friday (Sep 29). 
 
"I was talking today about eventually getting the training brought closer and actually into Ukraine as well. Particularly in the west of the country, I think the opportunity now is to bring more things 'in the country'," he said.

The customers of the Uber application in the United Kingdom will soon be able to book flight tickets through the ride-booking app, as the company aims to offer various forms of transport to its customers.&nbsp;

The new feature which allows consumers to book international and domestic flights is being rolled out on the UK application of Uber and will be available to all users in Britain by the summer.

Uber stated the function of flight booking was part of its ambition to “create a seamless door-to-door travel solution” alongside the car ride-sharing function, for which it was first known.&nbsp;

The company has entered into a partnership with online travel agent Hopper which will allow users to book flights and in return, it will receive a small commission from every sale.&nbsp;

"The addition of flights to the Uber app is a big win for UK consumers who are looking for an easier way to book travel," stated Frederic Lalonde, CEO and co-founder of Hopper, in a press release.&nbsp;

"This new partnership will offer Uber users choice, transparency and flexibility when booking flights, all in the same place they are already booking their other transportation," he added.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, Uber's general manager in UK Andrew Brem said, “Our new functionality will make the booking and managing of air travel simple and stress-free, with the booking process taking as little as one minute.”

Uber’s chief executive, Dara Khosrowshahi, stated that he had planned to make his company “an operating system for everyday life” in 2019 when the ride-hailing application was merged with Uber Eats food delivery services.&nbsp;

He added that a feature was also added in the application to highlight local public transport options.

The tickets for these journeys can be booked through Uber’s app which permits passengers to board the riverboats by using a QR code on their phone.

To book flight tickets, Uber users will be required to enter their travel information, which includes where they are flying from and to, and the date of travel as planned.

UK: Uber app to offer users facility to book flight tickets by summer

The United Kingdom is set to conduct its first test of a new emergency alert service on Sunday as a loud alarm will ring from millions of mobile phones and the devices will vibrate at 3:00 pm (1400 GMT).

The national emergency system, which has been modelled based on similar schemes in the United States, the Netherlands, Canada and Japan, aims to warn the people if there is something nearby which can endanger their life but has received criticism over "nanny state" intrusion.

"This is a test of Emergency Alerts, a new UK government service that will warn you if there's a life-threatening emergency nearby,” the message will say.

The government and emergency services hope to use the system for alerting people regarding issues like fire and severe flooding.

The alarm, which will ring for 10 seconds, will emit a sound even if the mobile phones are on silent and is likely to disrupt sporting and entertainment events, including Premier League football matches.

World Snooker Championship's organisers will put the play on pause just before the alert rings on the mobiles, while the members of the Society of London Theatre have been advised to ask audiences to switch off their phones.

The drivers have received a warning against picking up their phones during the test, and people who are not willing to receive the alerts have the option to opt out of the settings of their devices.

"Keep Calm and Carry On. That is the British way and it is exactly what the country will do when they receive this test alert at 3:00 pm today," Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden said.

"The government's number-one job is to keep people safe and this is another tool in the toolkit for emergency situations,” he added.

The plan was criticised by some Conservative figures as former minister Jacob Rees-Mogg appealed to people to defy the calls of the government and "switch off the unnecessary and intrusive alert".

According to a statement issued by the British government on Saturday (January 7), justice ministers from around the world will attend the meeting that will be held in the Lancaster House in London.&nbsp;

"The meeting comes as Russia steps up its campaign of terror against Ukraine, striking at crucial energy infrastructure and plunging people into the dark and freezing cold of winter. In reclaimed areas of Ukraine, prosecutors continue to gather evidence of atrocities and sexual violence," the statement said.&nbsp;

Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab, who is also UK's Justice Secretary, said that Russian forces should know they cannot act with impunity "and we will back Ukraine until justice is served."

"The UK has now provided £2.3 billion in military support to Ukraine in 2022 — more than any country other than the United States — and has already committed to sustain that level of military support into 2023," the statement also said.&nbsp;

UK, Netherlands to host global meet in March on alleged war crimes in Ukraine

The Rishi Sunak administration in UK is reportedly working on moving the country into a Swiss-style relationship with the European Union. The British government wants to build a closer economic relationship with the EU to avoid current trade barriers, reported the Sunday Times.

As per the report, the move could take place over the next decade. This comes after Chancellor Jeremy Hunt signalled last week that the Sunak administration intends to break ranks with Boris Johnson’s approach with the bloc, as per the Independent. The report made it clear that the UK did not wish to reinstate provisions facilitating the free movement of people.

According to wildlife experts, the bison can transform the entire area and allow new flora and fauna to thrive. These giants eat the bark of the tree to create dust baths, which has numerous benefits for other plant and animal species.

Similarly, the trees that will fall will allow light to reach the forest ground, making the plants grow. Moreover, the woodlands are expected to absorb more carbon as Britain continues to battle its worst ever heatwave.&nbsp;

Bison make a comeback in Britain, 10,000 years after they went extinct

Steve Martin, a Metropolitan police officer has been found guilty of punching a teenager black child and sacked. Reportedly, Martin, in February last year, whilst serving in the firearms command had punched and verbally assaulted a 15-year-old kid who was not resisting the arrest in an alleged knifepoint robbery case.&nbsp;

“Following our independent investigation, we found a case to answer on the basis that the force used appeared to exceed what was required in the circumstances as the boy had given himself up and was not resisting,” stated Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) in its investigation.&nbsp;

Reportedly, IOPC submitted ample evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service, including the body-cam footage which exposed the police constable for breaching professional standards for use of force and authority. Afterwards, he was charged with common assault and pleaded guilty at the Magistrates' Cort in Westminster, earlier this year in January.&nbsp;

As for the incident, on February 28, 2021, the Police were looking for three youths in East London in connection to a knifepoint robbery case. The black kid along with two other male teenagers was arrested by Martin and charged, only for the case to be discontinued later&nbsp;.&nbsp;

Morrissey resigned as the office’s lead non-executive director after Foreign Secretary Liz Truss made it clear that she would sack her.

Morrissey&nbsp;stepped down following talks with the department’s permanent secretary Sir Philip Barton. Sources said the Foreign Secretary believed her comments made the job ‘untenable’.

The 55-year-old banker&nbsp;was ennobled by Mr Johnson two years ago, but yesterday she told LBC radio that the Prime Minister was ‘just in the wrong job’.

Morrissey&nbsp;said: ‘Wavering MPs when they saw the booing of the Prime Minister outside St Paul’s (at the Platinum Jubilee thanksgiving service), they would see that he had actually become a liability rather than an asset.

‘I would rather he didn’t (carry on as Prime Minister)... I don’t see any contrition. He said he would bash on, that’s not what we want to hear. Tax cuts one minute after we’ve just raised them, that’s not going to help,’ she added.

Miss Truss is believed to have instructed Sir Philip to sack Baroness Morrissey in the meeting, but she offered her resignation.

A source close to the Foreign Secretary said: ‘Liz instructed Philip Barton to sack Helena. She thought the comments were outrageous and made her position untenable.’

Morrissey&nbsp;ran Newton Investment Management for 15 years and held a senior role at Legal and General, managing assets of almost £ 6 billion.

Last year, Mr Johnson faced calls to sack her after Morrissey&nbsp;put up a tweet which appeared to deny the extent of the Covid pandemic. She wrote: ‘The data shows we are NOT in a pandemic. If people were dropping dead in the street we would notice and not go to M&amp;S and have all those football matches.’

In an apparent reference to the Chinese Communist Party, she added: ‘CCP fake videos started this. It is ridiculous.’

Meanwhile, nine Tory frontbenchers have still failed to voice their loyalty after Monday’s no-confidence vote. Rumours of a snap reshuffle to shore up support for the PM have so far failed to materialise.

"We can confirm the antiques have been stolen and we hope that they are found and returned safely," a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement. "Replacements will be sourced, there is no expectation that filming will be held up."

South Yorkshire Police said they were called to a location near Doncaster on the afternoon of Feb. 16 after three vehicles containing "props used in film and TV were broken into and a number of items taken".

Under an amendment to the health care bill added on Monday, any procedure that attempts to reconstruct the hymen will be illegal no matter if the individual undergoing the surgery consents or not.

A growing number of clinics, private hospitals, and pharmacies offer the controversial surgery promising the restoration of virginity - with a large number of girls and young women coerced into the procedure.&nbsp;

The purpose of this procedure is to make a girl or woman bleed when she next has sexual contact by creating a fake hymen using scar tissue.

Since the government committed to criminalising virginity testing last July, campaigners, including doctors and midwives, had called for the surgery to be outlawed.

It is considered a form of violence against women and girls to engage in either of these practices.

The ban will provide vital protection to girls under family pressure, according to one British survivor of "honour" based abuse who was harassed by her parents for months into having the surgery.

Hymenoplasty can never be justified on medical grounds, says &nbsp;Dr Edward Morris, president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

He said that they have been campaigning for the introduction of a ban on both virginity testing and hymenoplasty alongside women's health and rights organisations, as both are inextricably linked with violence against women and girls.

Neither of these practices have a place in the medical world and should never be performed, he said adding that any time they learn that someone is performing these procedures, they will inform the General Medical Council so that appropriate action can be taken.

Morris went on to say that women deserve to be in charge of their own sexuality and reproductive health.

The executive director of the Iranian and Kurdish Women's Rights Organisation, Diana Nammi, said that every woman and girl who undergoes this invasive surgery do so under extreme duress, either direct or indirect. This is generally seen as a way to present the girl as a 'virgin', and oftentimes it is done to facilitate a forced marriage arranged by the family.

Approximately half of the time, hymenoplasty does not make the woman or girl bleed after having intercourse, which leaves her extremely vulnerable to 'honour'-based abuse or even 'honour' killing.

Consultations with experts led the government to come to the decision to ban hymenoplasty.

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) applauded this move. In a tweet, the organisation said that they are pleased to see that the Government of United Kingdom "has tabled an amendment to the Health and Care Bill to ban hymenoplasty alongside virginity testing."

They added that, they "will continue to work closely with the Government to ensure there is guidance, support and education for healthcare professionals on how to safeguard women as the ban comes into force."

"No one will get bored or tired or sick on this one. So it can take as long as it likes to do science," he said from the British port.

Sitting alongside him were three computer technicians checking the equipment remotely.&nbsp;

Meirwen Jenking-Rees, a 21-year-old student engineer, checked the ship's engines before it headed out for a sea trial.

Construction of the trimaran, which is automated from the robotic rudder that steers it to the diesel generator that supplements its solar power, took a year.

Developing its "smart captain", the onboard artificial intelligence, took even longer as the computer has had to learn how to identify maritime obstacles by analysing thousands of photographs.

Lack of regulations&nbsp;

The "Mayflower&nbsp;400" also had to be taught how to avoid collisions and first went to sea for "supervised learning".

Robotics and software engineer Ollie Thompson said that by running a "number of scenarios" the ship can learn "what are good actions, bad actions, so safe and unsafe".

So if it makes a mistake, the boat can correct itself "and then learn itself," he added.

The automated vessel uses its "eyes" and "ears",&nbsp;a sophisticated system of six cameras and radar, to continue learning on its own.

Because of a lack of regulations around unmanned sailing, the&nbsp;Mayflower&nbsp;400&nbsp;is yet to be tested in rough seas or storms, a situation Jenking-Rees described as a "worst case scenario".

In simulated settings, however, the robotic craft has faced 50-metre waves.
