Twitter wins ruling on arbitration request

<p>In a major win for Elon Musk-led Twitter, the social media company secured a ruling that allowed it to force several laid-off workers to terminate their proposed class-action lawsuit over revocation of their employment status. <h2><strong>Tom Zhu's Tesla run</strong></h2>

<p>Zhu joined Tesla in early 2014 to help expand its Supercharger network. By the end of his first year at Tesla, Zhu had swiftly risen through the ranks and was in charge of the China operations. Under his leadership, Tesla's Shanghai factory—the company's first site outside the US—materialized quickly, transforming from a muddy field to a dazzling assembly line for electric vehicles in less than a year. Zhu was elevated to the positions of president of Greater China and worldwide vice president before mass production even began at the end of 2019.</p>

<p>He was promoted in July of last year when the automaker expanded into Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He now has overall responsibility for Tesla Asia-Pacific. Musk also commended Zhu's China team for "burning the 3 am oil" when they toiled nonstop to keep the Shanghai factory running throughout the city's Covid lockdowns. The company underwent improvements to increase manufacturing capacity to 1 million electric vehicles annually during what was an incredibly challenging final year.</p>

Zhu Xiaotong, also known as Tom Zhu, smiled in a vest and a black hat with a white "T" for Tesla in a Twitter post celebrating Tesla manufacturing 3,000 Model Ys a week at its Texas factory last month. Zhu, who oversaw the US automaker's operations in Asia-Pacific and managed its Shanghai factory to become the company's most productive in the world, was sent to Austin late last year to assist with running Tesla's newest plant, as reported by the South China Morning Post. It is claimed that Zhu is now in charge of worldwide automotive production, sales, and service—a degree of authority that is perhaps second only to that of Tesla CEO Elon Musk—despite the fact that Tesla has not yet made any announcements or designated him as an executive officer. Early life and education Zhu was born in China and is said to also have a New Zealand passport. Prior to that, he contributed to the establishment of an international engineering consultancy that offered support to Chinese contractors wanting to expand overseas. ‘Small d*** energy’: Greta Thunberg responds to Andrew Tate’s supercar flex on Twitter. He replies.

From Chief Twit's reign to FIFA's desert breakout: The remarkable moments of 2022

<p>Usman Khawaja is a veteran of 103 internationals (54 Tests, 40 ODIs and nine T20Is) for Team Australia. The left-hander has been part of Australia's 2019 ODI World Cup campaign and is also involved in their ongoing home series versus South Africa. Ahead of Australia's second and penultimate Test versus the Proteas, which is currently underway at the iconic MCG, Melbourne, Khawaja made a glaring claim. The left-hander, who is of Asian descent being born in Pakistan, shifted to Australia at a young age with his family members and has played all his cricket for the Aussies. However, he revealed that he has often been stopped and questioned by security three times at a hotel despite being in the national jersey.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Khawaja took to his official Twitter handle and recalled the times being stopped by hotel security staff after a journalist shared his experience on the social media platform. The 36-year-old veteran wrote, "You get use to it. I got stopped 3 times last year at our hotel, while in Australian Kit and asked if I was with the Australian Cricket team... #youdontlookaustralian #orsotheysay"</p>

<p>Khawaja has amassed&nbsp;3,966 runs in 54 Tests at an average of 46.11 along with 12 centuries. In 40 ODIs, the left-hander has 1,554 runs at 42 whereas he has only played a handful of T20Is (nine), scoring 241 runs. While he remains a regular in Tests, he hasn't featured in Australia's white-ball setup since 2019. In the ongoing SA Tests, he has had scores of 11, 2 and 1 and will like to make amends in the remaining outings in the series. After this, Australia will tour India for four Tests and gear up to play the WTC final -- with Pat Cummins &amp; Co. almost through to the final -- before the action shifts to Ashes 2023 in England.</p>

Usman Khawaja is a veteran of 103 internationals (54 Tests, 40 ODIs and nine T20Is) for Team Australia. The left-hander has been part of Australia's 2019 ODI World Cup campaign and is also involved in their ongoing home series versus South Africa.

However, he revealed that he has often been stopped and questioned by security three times at a hotel despite being in the national jersey. Khawaja took to his official Twitter handle and recalled the times being stopped by hotel security staff after a journalist shared his experience on the social media platform. The 36-year-old veteran wrote, "You get use to it.
