<p>Sonakshi Sinha has courted a new controversy after the police visited her house in Mumbai in connection with a case registered against her for cheating.&nbsp;</p>

<p>An event organiser accused the actress of not turning up for an event in Delhi at the last moment after accepting a booking amount of Rs 24 lakh.</p>

<p>An FIR under sections of cheating is registered in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Thursday, the UP Police, assisted by officials from the Juhu police station in Mumbai, reached Sonakshi's home to take her statement regarding the case. According to reports, Sonakshi was not at her residence at the time when the police went to her house. They are likely to visit the actress again on Friday.&nbsp;</p>

TV channel Zoom and fashion portal Myntra are getting tohether to create a fashion influencer hunt titled, 'Myntra Fashion Superstar'. Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is gearing up for the release of her next film, 'Khandaani Shafakhana' will be seen judging this digital fashion reality show. Sonakshi believes that judging this show will be a step ahead in her career because she started out as a costume designer. "Fashion intrigues and excites me at the same time. From being a fashion graduate to a judge on `Myntra Fashion Superstar`, it has been a journey of constant evolution and constant learning," she said. On Thursday, Sonakshi shared a video on her instagram account announcing the launch of the show. Accompanied by 50 air force and 60 defence security personnel, he reconstructed the IAF airstrip at Bhuj. The team convinced around 300 women from a nearby village to help them rebuild the airstrip so that a flight carrying Indian Army officers could land safely.<br />

Bringing back this heroic tale to life, the film also stars Parineeti Chopra who will play the `femme fatale` Heena Rehman. On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha will portray social worker Sunderben Jetha Madhaparya, Sanjay Dutt will be seen as civilian Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari, Rana Daggubati playing Madras regiment lieutenant colonel and Ammy Virk as a fighter pilot.<br />

<p>Sonakshi Sinha will next be seen with actor Varun Sharma and rapper Badshah in their upcoming film together. The movie is titled ‘Kandaani Shafakhana’ and is scheduled to release on July 26.&nbsp;</p>
