<p>According to reports, a gang of 8 fired 30 rounds at the singer's car of which 20 were aimed at Sidhu Moose Wala. Two other people travelling along with the Punjabi singer were also injured in the attack.</p>

<p>Police found bullets from three AK- 94 rifles at the crime site. Use of AK-94 is rare in Punjab.</p>

<p>The singer was declared brought dead, while the two others are undergoing treatment.</p>

<p>As per the latest reports by India Today,&nbsp;24&nbsp;bullet wounds were found on Moose Wala's body during the autopsy. And, the singer's right elbow was broken due to bullet injuries. He sustained maximum bullets on the chest and abdomen areas while two bullets hit his right leg, said the officials.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is also being reported that the Punjab police has detained about 10 men in connection with the killing of&nbsp;Moose Wala, who had contested the 2022 Punjab assembly elections on a Congress ticket.</p>

<p>According to the sources,&nbsp;a criminal namely Shahrukh&nbsp;was found to be communicating&nbsp;with Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar from jail. During his interrogation, it was revealed that&nbsp;the task of killing Sidhu Musewala was given to the arrested accused&nbsp;on behalf of gangsters Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. Shahrukh also told the special cell&nbsp;that he had tried to kill Moose Wala&nbsp;before, but then seeing the security personnel, he returned.</p>

<p>Not only this, but in the interrogation, Shahrukh&nbsp;has also given a total of 8 names, whom he has accused of helping the killers. Shockingly, it&nbsp;also includes the name of Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh’s manager.</p>

<p>Minutes after Moose Wala’s death, Brar had reportedly&nbsp;claimed responsibility for the singer’s&nbsp;death.&nbsp;Since Brar is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Delhi Police Special Cell is suspecting the involvement of the gang and is questioning gangster Bishnoi and his aides Kala Jathedi and Kala Rana.</p>

<p>Bishnoi is currently lodged in a Rajasthan jail.</p>

<p>On Sunday, the Punjab Police said that the attack on the singer&nbsp;seems&nbsp;to be due to an inter-gang war. Meanwhile,&nbsp;Delhi Police recently stated that Moose Wala’s murder might have a connection with&nbsp;the killing&nbsp;of Vikramjit alias Vicky Middukhera.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the Delhi police special cell, the singer’s name&nbsp;came up in connection with the murder of Vicky in August last year. And, Moose Wala’s manager Shaganpreet was also involved in the fiasco.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Special Cell of Delhi Police recently became aware of the nexus of notorious gangster Neeraj Bawania and Tillu Tajpuria. Bawania and Tajpuria had teamed up with different gangsters from Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.</p>

<p>The Delhi Police had arrested about a dozen miscreants of this five-member gang in connection with the murder of Vicky. Those arrested were identified as sharpshooter Sajjan Singh alias Bholu, Anil Kumar alias Lath and Ajay Kumar alias Sunny Kaushal.</p>

<p>During the interrogation, the arrested trio had spoken&nbsp;about the involvement of Sidhu&nbsp;Moose Wala and his manager in the Vicky murder case.</p>

Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder planned in Delhi’s Tihar Jail, suspects cops

<p>Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday announced the setting up of a judicial commission under the chairmanship of a sitting judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to probe the murder case of renowned singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala.</p>

<p>The Chief Minister, while acceding to the request of Balkar Singh Sidhu, the father of slain singer, said the state government will be requesting the Chief Justice of the High Court to get the case enquired into by a sitting judge.</p>

<p>Mann said the state government will ensure full cooperation to this enquiry commission, including roping in of any of the central agencies like National Investigation Agency (NIA).</p>

<p>He further asked the Director General of Police (DGP) to issue a clarification regarding his Sunday press conference regarding the incident.</p>

<p>Condemning the gruesome murder of Moose Wala, the Chief Minister unequivocally said the government will leave no stone unturned to put the perpetrators of this heinous crime behind the bars.</p>

<p>Mann said he has already issued directions to the police for thorough investigation of the case in a prompt and result-oriented manner. The Chief Minister categorically said all the aspects of security reduction of the late singer are also under scrutiny and responsibility of lapse, if any, will be definitely fixed.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, expressing deep shock and grief at the demise of Moose Wala, the Chief Minister said the departed singer was a celebrated artist and a cultural icon of Punjab.</p>

<p>Mann said he has deep regards for departed soul, adding that the state government was solidly with the aggrieved family in this hour of grief.</p>

<p>He shared his condolences with the family and prayed to almighty for granting eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.</p>

<p>In less than 24 hours after his security was curtailed by the government, singer-turned-actor-politician Moose Wala, with a huge fan base running into millions, was shot dead by gangsters close to his ancestral village in Mansa in broad daylight on Sunday. He was 29 years old.</p>

<p>He was on the wheel in a Mahindra Thar SUV when the assailants, believed to be 10-12, fired more than 20 rounds at point-blank range at the singer and his two friends, who got grievous injuries. Moose Wala got seven-eight bullets.</p>

<p>Moose Wala was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. The civil surgeon at Mansa hospital said Moose Wala was brought dead, while the two others were referred to another hospital for treatment.</p>

<p>The incident happened a day after the Punjab Police ordered the withdrawal of security of more than 420 people, including former legislators, Jathedars of two Takhts, heads of deras and police officers.</p>

<p>In a shocking turn of events, Punjabi rapper and singer Sidhu Moose Wala has been&nbsp;shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district, Punjab&nbsp;on Sunday.&nbsp;The incident has sent shock waves across the country and his fans are mourning his untimely demise.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Moose Wala,&nbsp;who had joined Congress in December last year, was brought dead to the hospital, said Dr Ranjeet Rai, Civil Surgeon, Mansa Hospital.</p>

<p>The incident took place a day after his security was withdrawal by the police. While issuing the order to remove Moose Wala’s security cover, the Punjab Police had said it was done on a “temporary basis”. It also said that it was done in “connection with an emergent law and order duty”.</p>

<p>As per reports, the Punjab Police had ordered the withdrawal of security of 424 people, including former MLAs, Jathedars of two Takhts, heads of Deras, and police officials along with the Punjabi singer.</p>
