"He wanted me to play Sunil Dutt sahab's role and it is a fantastic role. Largely, it is a father-son story. But Sanju's role is unbelievable. I told Raju, Sanjay Dutt's role is so great that it has won my heart... So in this film, I can't do any other role but that of Sanjay Dutt, which I can't do as Ranbir Kapoor is doing it.
"So, don't offer me any other role as I won't be able to do it. I can't come to the sets thinking this should have been my lines. "... We decided we will sit near Mahatma Gandhi's statue near Mantralaya and will protest in open (to) stop the riots and we won't get up until violence stops. We took turns.
He may be playing the lead in a biopic but actor Ranbir Kapoor doesn't think his life would be inspiring enough to make a biopic.

Ranbir along with filmmakers Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani was present at the teaser launch of 'Sanju', the Sanjay Dutt biopic, on Tuesday in Mumbai.

Asked if Ranbir will be open to someone else making a film on him, he said: "I will be ready but I don`t think my life is inspiring. I am a very boring person. I work, go back home and fall asleep. If a film is made, it will be a very existential kind of a film."

"If someone puts a camera like in the Bigg Boss house, you will see me work, come home and sleep. So yes, if someone wants to make a film then I won`t mind but I don`t think the film will work or it will have any message to give," he added.

The Sanjay Dutt biopic is directed by Hirani.

Asked to comment on showcasing six phases of Sanjay`s life and how much it has been fictionalised, Hirani said: "It is not possible to show a 55-year-old journey in two- or two-and-a-half-hours. We had to let go of certain parts."

Adding to Hirani`s comment, Chopra said: "We didn`t want any controversial stuff in the film. What we have done is... presented it with a message. Once the message is clear, the whole film revolves around it."

Ranbir was asked, out of the six chapters of Sanjay`s life, which one was difficult to portray.

"The difficult one which I did not expect was the young Sanju because there were a lot of facets that we had to show. First, the drugs then coming out of it, then his mother`s death and the most fun was Munna Bhai phase. I enjoyed doing it," he said.

'Sanju" also stars Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Vicky Koirala and Tabu.

Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor set the stage on fire on Thursday, April 19 as they walked hand in hand as showstoppers for ace designer Manish Malhotra for the 2018 Mijwan Fashion Show.

A celebrated on-screen couple who was once together as real-life lovers too walked the ramp with effortless grace while donning beautiful designs by Malhotra. The fashion show, like every year, was organised by Shabana Azmi’s NGO, Mijwan Welfare society. It was the ninth edition of the walk this year.

Deepika was seen wearing a glistening ivory-white contemporary lehenga that was embellished with heavy work and a feathery trail while Ranbir donned a black and white bandhgala - both traditional ensembles designed by Malhotra.

Malhotra had earlier told IANS, “It gives me immense pleasure to share that Ranbir and Deepika will be walking the ramp for Mijwan, a project very close to my heart, on April 19 at JW Marriott. I am really glad that both Ranbir and Deepika’s health allows them to walk for my show. We are excited to showcase our design direction for Summer 2018 spotlighting the art of Chikankari. Both actors truly embody the global-Indian appeal that the collection stands for.”

The former real-life couple walked for Manish Malhotra's ‘The Walk of Mijwan’ fashion show on April 19.

Both actors truly embody the global-Indian appeal that the collection stands for.” #New Yaaaaa Best best moment ?? Deepika Padukone- Ranbir Kapoor's ramp walk at Manish Malhotra's show gets cancelled. Here's why

Ranbir Kapoor is all set to make a cameo appearance in Madhuri Dixit's Marathi film Bucket List. Back in 2013, Madhuri Dixit had appeared in a special song in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The song 'Ghagra'&nbsphad Ranbir and Madhuri dancing together. Now, Ranbir seems to be returning the favour as he has come on board for Madhuri's Marathi debut film.&nbsp

Whether Ranbir will feature in a song or will have a few scenes in the film is not known yet. The film is being presented by Karan Johar who was incidentally, the producer of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.&nbsp

The film has Madhuri Dixit playing a middle-class housewife who is content with her life until one day something changes. Bucket List also stars Renuka Shahane, who played Madhuri's sister in Hum Aapke Hai Koun more than two decades back. Sumeet Raghavan will play Madhuri's husband in the film.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor to come together for Manish Malhotra's show

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is back in scrutiny after her video smoking at an event in Pakistan became viral recently. She also shot up on social media for her amazing dance performance at a friend’s function in which she incidentally dances on Bollywood hit numbers. But there’s one more thing she became a hot talking point for -- and it’s Ranbir Kapoor’s visit to London.

It was earlier reported that while Ranbir Kapoor was coming back to India from Bulgaria after wrapping the shooting schedule for Brahmastra with co-star Alia Bhatt (with whom he has been romantically linked too), he took a detour and stopped at London. Everyone’s best guess was, visiting Mahira Khan who was incidentally in London at the same time.

This is the real reason why Ranbir Kapoor stopped in London and not Pakistani actress Mahira Khan!

Talking to a leading daily in an interview, he said, “I am very much single”

Sidharth also spoke about love and said, “That’s a subject I wish I could articulate. I’d be lying if I said any line [to define it]; it will be a fake line.
He said that the idea of a perfect girl is completely flawed and added, “It’s a mirage, it’s a cheat! There is no such thing as a perfect girl.
