<p>The Greeley Police Department dispatched officers at around 3:30 am (local time) in response to “reports of a woman screaming in the front yard” and found a 24-year-old woman “lying on the front porch in obvious pain,” said the department.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The officers quickly realised that the woman was in active labour and called the emergency medical personnel while trying their best to keep the woman comfortable as the ambulance arrived.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Subsequently, the officers heard a faint cry and realised that a baby boy had been delivered and he was turning blue. At the time, it was snowing and raining and the temperature was around 32 degrees Fahrenheit (zero degrees Celsius), said the police.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A third officer who was with the new mother tied off the umbilical cord and cut it, while a fourth officer rushed the baby boy to the patrol car to keep him warm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Inside the vehicle, the baby had stopped breathing, prompting the officer to administer infant CPR, and the medical staff arrived shortly after and were able to help the child.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As it turns out, that was not the end of it. The new mother told the officer who was with her that she was expecting two more babies. The officers immediately called for more medical personnel to the scene.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A second baby boy was delivered with the help of the officers and “was also rushed to the ambulance where medical personnel were still tending to the first baby,” said the police.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The first two babies were taken to a local hospital for advanced medical care. A second ambulance arrived, and officers assisted the mother into it. She was rushed to the same hospital and immediately taken into surgery to deliver the last baby.”</p>

<h2><strong>How are the babies?</strong></h2>

<p>All three babies had strong heartbeats and were being taken care of in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), said the police.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The police also believe that the 24-year-old was home alone when she went into labour and her phone had died so she tried to get to her neighbour’s home to call for help.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Eric Mayeda, the father of the triplets, took to Facebook and said all the babies are “doing well!”&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Kiku and Billy are both improving by leaps and bounds! Hopefully kiku can be extubated sometime in the next week or so. Billy they are thinking maybe in the next 2 weeks,” he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He also thanked the Greeley Police Department and the first responders who “help(ed) my baby boys come into this world.”</p>

<p>The police officials shifted the victim to a local hospital. She was in critical condition. A felony arrest warrant was issued by San Antonio Police Detectives in the incident.</p>

<p>After several hours, the neighbours called the police officials and informed them about Sahoo, who had come back to the original location.</p>

<p>The officials reached the location and tried contacting him when he hit two officers with his vehicle.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After that, an officer fired his weapon and the bullet hit Sahoo who was "pronounced deceased on scene." A police officer suffered injuries and was shifted to a local hospital for treatment. The police have been investigating the case.</p>

<p>British author JK Rowling's social media comments in which she challenged the new hate crime law of Scotland are not being seen as a criminal act, said Police Scotland.</p>

<p>The celebrated author, who is famous for her Harry Potter series, described various transgender women as men, which included trans activists, convicted prisoners and other public figures.</p>

<p>As per the new law, "stirring up hatred" in relation to protected characteristics is seen as a new crime. The police confirmed that they have received complaints but no action will be taken against Rowling.</p>

<p>A feud between the neighbouring families in Bengaluru in India's southern state of Karnataka escalated so much so that both parties ended up filing complaints against each other with the police authorities, media reports said.</p>

<p>A projectile found at the apartment matched that of a police-issue firearm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The weapon has since been found inside a police station safe.</p>

<p>The accused officer was said to have been in a relationship with Baird until recently, when it ended badly.</p>

<p>Baird had been a presenter on Australia's Network Ten.</p>

<p>On Friday the officer turned himself in to Bondi Police Station, near the country's famed beach.</p>

<p>A 25-year-old student, Nicholas Jordan, was taken into police custody on Monday while carrying out investigations into a double murder case at the University of Colorado, in Colorado Springs, as per the officials.</p>

<p>The&nbsp;student is facing two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of two people who were discovered shot dead in a dorm room on Friday (Feb 16), as per the Colorado Springs police.</p>

<p>Police officials said that they found Jordan in a vehicle early on Monday (Feb 19) and took him into custody in Colorado Springs without incident.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jordan hails from Detroit and is enrolled as a student at the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs, as per a university spokesperson.</p>

<p>The shootings looked like "an isolated incident between individuals who were known to one another and not a random attack against the school or other students," said the police, in a statement.</p>

<p>As per the Colorado Springs Police Department, the victims were identified as 24-year-old Samuel Knopp of Parker, Colorado and 26-year-old Celie Rain Montgomery of Pueblo, Colorado.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Knopp was one of the registered students at the school while Montgomery had not registered himself, said police.</p>
