<p>In collaboration with Meta AI, UP Police have saved up to 460 lives.</p>

<p>It all started from a post by a 22-year-old woman residing in the small village of Sultanpur in Lucknow, which comes under Nigoha Police Station.</p>

<p>In the post, she shared a video on her Instagram handle attempting to commit suicide at 12:11 pm. “In her post, the woman shared her video in which she was seen standing on a chair, with a red-coloured dupatta tied from the ceiling fan to her neck, preparing for suicide. Within moments after the video was shared, we received an alert from Meta AI marking the video under the distressed category. The alert was received immediately, and subsequently, we forwarded the alert to the respective police station,” the UP police official asserted.</p>

<p>Notified of the suicide alert, the police at Nigoha station took immediate action and rushed to her house at the address mentioned in the alert.</p>

<p>“It took around 4 minutes for the team, headed by Station-in-Charge Anuj Tiwari, to reach the given address. The team reached outside the woman’s house at 12:15 pm and rushed immediately inside her house and rescued her,” said Rajnish Verma, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Mohanlalganj, adding that the girl’s condition remained stable.</p>

<p>"It is wrong that we have informed the victim's family that she committed suicide. It is wrong that 150 grams of semen was found in her body... Our officers are cooperating with the CBI with anything that they need... I dont see why it is being spread that we wanted to hush up the matter and finish it as... Videography was done and all evidence was collected in the presence of family and friends... A three-member team conducted the postmortem and it is on video... CBI has access to the postmortem video... There is no doubt as far as transparency is concerned," he added.</p>

<p>As reported by the media, the victim's uterus was a key organ in forensic examination in this case and hence, it was preserved and the doctors documented its weight which was 150 grams.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The samples collected, which included any semen, residual&nbsp;blood and vaginal swab, were mixed by the experts with other bodily fluids and examined.</p>

<p>The forensic team had reached the crime scene nearly five hours after the incident and by that time, the fluids turned into a smear.</p>

<p>UCLA&nbsp;officials said that the activities of the protesters,&nbsp;“including erecting barricades, establishing fortifications, and blocking access to parts of the campus and buildings,”&nbsp;had been disrupting campus operations.</p>

With the benefit of hindsight, we should have&nbsp;been prepared&nbsp;to immediately remove the encampment if and when&nbsp;the safety of our community was put&nbsp;at risk."</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the union members said that their free speech rights&nbsp;were violated&nbsp;when UC system leaders appealed to police to use force to clear pro-Palestinian encampments from the campuses.</p>
