<p>They later categorised the book and plays into 'comedies', 'tragedies' and 'histories', allowing the upcoming generations to read Shakespeare's work in a nuanced way. Only 750 copies have been made of the First Folio. However, currently, only less than a third (220) are accounted for.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Some experts are of the view that eighteen of the plays in the First Folio are not known to have been previously printed, such as 'The Tempest', 'Twelfth Night' and 'Measure for Measure' and more.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If the book was not collated, iconic dialogues such as, "If music be the food of love, play on," from 'Twelfth Night' and, "Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears," from Julius Caesar would have been lost forever.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This is not the first time that one of the original copies of the First Folio has been sold. As reported by WION, in 2020, another copy had sold for $9.97 million, smashing the previous high of $6.16 million, set way back in 2001.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"This shouldn't be an issue because there's already a vaccine, and it (the rollout) should be... more efficient to prevent it from becoming more of an issue," said the 28-year-old. His partner and his best friend have not been able to get a vaccine yet.</p>

<p>In the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Wednesday night, a 20-year-old woman was shot in the head while she was pushing her 3-month-old in a stroller and died as a result. The young child was unharmed.The woman was carrying the stroller when a guy approached from behind, "fired a single shot into her head from a very close range," and fled, according to New York City Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell.</p>

<p>About an hour after being taken to the hospital, the victim was declared dead, according to Sewell. Her name wasn't right away disclosed.</p>

<p>The accused is still at large. Nothing was known about a potential reason.</p>

<p>At the press conference, New York City Mayor Eric Adams also addressed the "issue of the over-proliferation of weapons on our streets."</p>

<p>"When a woman is shooting at point-blank range while pulling a baby carriage down the block, it illustrates just how this national problem is affecting families," Adams said. <p>Cryptocurrency mining, which requires specialised computers that consume huge amounts of energy, has an extremely adverse impact on the environment.</p>

<p>According to the US Energy Information Administration, bitcoin’s annual electricity consumption was comparable to Hong Kong’s in 2019.</p>

<p>An elephant named Happy is, in fact, anything but happy. And the state of the 51-year-old jumbo has caused consternation among the animal rights activists who have filed a habeas corpus plea at an appeals court in New York against her solitary confinement.</p>

<p>According to reports, the beloved Asian tusker had been living in 0.4 acre enclosure at the Bronx Zoo in New York City since 2006.</p>

<p>But the Florida-based Nonhuman Rights Project (NRP), which has filed the plea on the elephant’s behalf, claimed that the animal is being illegally detained in small confinement against her will.</p>

<p>The group wants Happy to be released to one of two elephant sanctuaries in the United States.</p>

<p>They said the elephant was entitled to habeas corpus, a legal process in which illegally detained people or someone acting on their behalf may inquire about the reason they are being held.</p>

<p>But the habeas corpus law in the city does not view animals as "person," and the group said Happy should be recognised as one.</p>

<p>However, the authorities at the Bronze Zoo claimed that Happy has been well cared for and added that moving her to a sanctuary would not “serve her interests”.</p>

<p>"The blatant exploitation of Happy the elephant by NRP to advance their coordinated agenda shows no concern for the individual animal," the Bronx Zoo said in a statement on Wednesday, using an acronym for the animal rights group. "Their concern is winning a legal argument, not what is best for Happy."</p>

<p>A New York trial court in February 2020 dismissed the original petition, calling Happy an "intelligent, autonomous being" who "may be entitled to liberty," but not legally a person. An appeals court later upheld that ruling.</p>

<p>The hearing in front of the Albany-based Court of Appeals is scheduled for 2 pm (1800 GMT).</p>

According to reports, the beloved Asian tusker had been living in 0.4 acre enclosure at the Bronx Zoo in New York City since 2006. But the Florida-based Nonhuman Rights Project (NRP), which has filed the plea on the elephant’s behalf, claimed that the animal is being illegally detained in small confinement against her will. The group wants Happy to be released to one of two elephant sanctuaries in the United States. They said the elephant was entitled to habeas corpus, a legal process in which illegally detained people or someone acting on their behalf may inquire about the reason they are being held. But the habeas corpus law in the city does not view animals as "person," and the group said Happy should be recognised as one. However, the authorities at the Bronze Zoo claimed that Happy has been well cared for and added that moving her to a sanctuary would not “serve her interests”. "The blatant exploitation of Happy the elephant by NRP to advance their coordinated agenda shows no concern for the individual animal," the Bronx Zoo said in a statement on Wednesday, using an acronym for the animal rights group. "Their concern is winning a legal argument, not what is best for Happy." A New York trial court in February 2020 dismissed the original petition, calling Happy an "intelligent, autonomous being" who "may be entitled to liberty," but not legally a person.
