The two drivers were having an animated discussion after the race when Stenhouse Jr. let one loose on Busch. The point of contention was Stenhouse Jr. being shoved to wall in second lap of the race by Busch.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"So definitely just built up frustration with how he runs his mouth all the time about myself but I know he's frustrated because he doesn't run near as good as he used to and I understand that. We're a single-car team over here and working really hard to go out and get better each and every weekend," he added.</p>

<p>The six-time NBA champion Jordan also said that it would "open more opportunities for black people in racing".</p>

<p>"Historically, Nascar has struggled with diversity and there have been few black owners," Jordan said. "The timing seemed perfect as Nascar is evolving and embracing social change more and more."</p>

<p>Bubba Wallace was feared to be a subject to a racial attack when a loose noose was found in his garage stall at Talladega Superspeedway in June in Alabama. However, an FBI investigation concluded that it was actually a handle on a garage door and had been there since the previous year.</p>

<p>Earlier this year, the 26-year-old campaigned to ban the Confederate flag banned at Nascar races. The campaign was eventually successful.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On joining Jordan and Hamlin's team, Wallace said: "This is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I believe is a great fit for me at this point in my career."</p>

<p>"We are angry and outraged and cannot state strongly enough how seriously we take this heinous act. We have launched an immediate investigation and will do everything we can to identify the person(s) responsible and eliminate them from the sport.</p>

<p>"As we have stated unequivocally, there is no place for racism in NASCAR and this act only strengthens our resolve to make the sport open and welcoming to all.”</p>

<p>Wallace, who has been outspoken about racial injustice in the wake of George Floyd's death in Minneapolis police custody on May 25, commented on the incident in a statement posted on Twitter, saying he was "incredibly saddened" by the "despicable act of racism."</p>

<p>"This will not break me," Wallace said. "I will not give in, nor will I back down."</p>

<p>Wallace was a strong advocate for NASCAR's decision to ban the Confederate flag from its properties on June 10.</p>

<p>The Confederate flag has been a staple at NASCAR tracks, particularly in the sport's southern US heartland that includes Talladega in Alabama.</p>

<p>But it remains a symbol of slavery and racism for many.</p>

<p>Sunday's race, which was to be NASCAR's first with fans since the coronavirus pandemic erupted, was postponed until Monday by thunderstorms.</p>

<p>This decision to terminate him comes a day after the racing team said it would suspend him without pay.</p>

<p>Joe Gibbs Racing driver Hamlin followed up his victory in 2019 with his third career win at Daytona. He becomes the first racer to win the opening leg of the NASCAR season since Sterling Marlin in 1995. But his celebrations were muted by a last-lap crash that left Roush Fenway Racing's Newman hospitalized.</p>

<p>The 42-year-old Ryan was driving Ford Mustang and took the lead in the final lap of the race but his car spun out of control after being struck by Go Fas Racing's Corey LaJoie and it hit the wall. The car burst into flames as it flipped on its roof at the Daytona International Speedway.</p>

<p>The emergency response team rushed to the scene to attend Newman who was stuck in the car following the crash.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Black screens were placed while Newman was being extracted from the car.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The race-winner Hamlin expressed his concern for Ryan Newman and said: &nbsp;"I knew him crossing the track there was a bad scenario in the first place. It's a weird balance of excitement and happiness for yourself, but obviously, someone's health and their family is bigger than any win in any sport......we are just hoping for the best."</p>

<p>Denny Hamlin's team boss Joe Gibbs apologized for celebrating while Newman was being extracted from the burning Ford Mustang, he said: "I was focusing on our car, and everybody started celebrating around us,".&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Some people may have seen us and said, 'Well, these guys are celebrating when there's a serious issue going on......so hopefully I apologize to everybody, but we didn't know. We got in the winner's circle, and then that's when people told us," he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane rolled off the end of a runway at Elizabethton Municipal Airport at 3:40 pm&nbsp;(2040 GMT) and caught fire. The National Transportation Safety Board was also investigating.</p>
