Makers dropped the first official trailer for Joker: Folie A Deux and it's as chaotic as we’d expect it to be. Joker 2 is titled Joker: Folie A Deux and brings back Joaquin as Joker and Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn on the screen for the first time in the crazy psycho lover character. The movie will mostly take place in Arkham Asylum where the two meet. This is the first time that Joaquin and Gaga will work together. Joker: Folie A Deux is the sequel for Warner Bros. and DC's 2019 film Joker. The film will release on October 4, 2024. Joker 2 first premiered at the Venice Film Festival. It was a massive hit both critically and commercially. It was nominated for 11 Oscars with Joaquin Phoenix winning Best Actor Academy Award. Joker 2 Cast and Director Joker 2 will also feature actors Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey. Zazie Beetz returns as Sophie from the first film. <p>The Oscar winner, who is all set to play an ardent admirer of the Batman villain, was seen flaunting her blonde hair, which was pulled back into a half ponytail with her dark roots clearly showing. And, she was styled to appear as if she wasn't wearing any makeup.&nbsp;</p>

According to this rumour, Gaga will portray Harley as a patient at Arkham Asylum rather than as a psychiatrist assigned to treat him, as she typically does in her comic origins.</p>

<p>This also lends further to the rumour that Arkham Asylum will play a pivotal role in the film. The asylum is where fans last saw Phoenix's Arthur Fleck at the end of the original story.</p>

<p>The movie is being helmed by Todd Phillips and will bring back Phoenix as Joker. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga will step into the shoes of&nbsp;Harley Quinn.&nbsp;</p>

On Valentine's Day, filmmaker Tod Phillips shared a new still from his upcoming film <em>Joker: Folie a Deux</em>- a sequel to the critically acclaimed <em>Joker</em>. The still unveils the first look of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn, Joker's love interest in the comic book. The still not just features Gaga, but also gives a glimpse of Joaquin Phoenix who reprises his role as the Joker in the sequel of the 2019 film.&nbsp;<br />

Sharing the photo on Instagram, he wrote in his caption, 'Happy Valentines Day.' The same image was also shared by Lady Gaga on her social media page. Harley Quinn was earlier famously played by Margot Robbie in Birds of Prey and Suicide Squad.&nbsp;<br />

Phillips's version of Quinn is expected to be darker much like his depiction of Joker in the 2019 film. Not many details of the sequel have been revealed yet but the filmmaker had also shared an image of Phoenix earlier.&nbsp;<br />
