Entertainment memorabilia auctioneer Propstore is selling more than 1,800 items at its annual live auction, which this year runs from Nov. 14 to 17, and which it estimates could fetch more than 10 million pounds ($13.1 million).

Items worn or used by some of Hollywood's biggest names are up for grabs, with plenty of lots from some of cinema's biggest franchises including the James Bond and Harry Potter films.

Leading the sale is a Sandtrooper helmet from the "Move Along" scene in "Star Wars: A New Hope", which has a price estimate of 250,000 pounds to 500,000 pounds ($326,900 to $654,000).

"It's an incredibly rare artefact," Propstore founder and Chief Executive Stephen Lane told Reuters.

The Yoda cane being sold was used in both "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi", Propstore said.

An array of costumes are being sold, including Michael Keaton's Batsuit from "Batman Returns", a suit worn by Daniel Craig in Bond film "Skyfall" and the 2015 resizing jacket Michael J. Fox's character Marty McFly wore in "Back to the Future Part II".

Eastwood's duster coat from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" is also among the lots.

"The duster is a synonymous attire for most Western films," Lane said. "This is deemed to be one of the best Western films, perhaps of all times and Clint Eastwood costume pieces from those films virtually never, ever turn up," Lane said.

Other highlights include Russell Crowe's Maximus arena helmet and mask from "Gladiator", the ghostface mask worn by Henry Winkler as principal Arthur Himbry in "Scream" and a dress worn by Elizabeth Taylor in "Cleopatra".

Author, actor and comedian Charlie Higson has been commissioned to write the book, in which Bond has to thwart plans to disrupt the coronation ceremony, according to Ian Fleming Publications.

Higson, 64, has already written five books in the Young Bond&nbsp;series, which follows the future secret agent during his school days.

"On His Majesty's Secret Service" is due for publication on May 4, and comes 60 years after the publication of Bond creator Ian Fleming's tenth novel, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

"When Ian Fleming Publications came to me with the idea of writing an adult Bond story a little more than a month ago I was thrilled -- until I realised it had to be ready for the coronation in May," said Higson.

"Getting it written and turned around in such a short space of time was going to be as tense and heart-pounding as any Bond mission. Although, of course, nobody would actually be shooting at me."

"Fleming famously wrote fast, and I channelled that energy. And now it's so exciting for me to finally enter the world of grown-up Bond."

Higson promised fans the usual cocktail of "sex, violence, cars, a colourful villain with a nasty henchman, and of course, Bond himself."

Royalties from the book will go towards supporting the National Literacy Trust, which provides disadvantaged children with literacy skills.

"The coronation of King Charles III is a momentous occasion for the country," said Corinne Turner, managing director of Ian Fleming Publications.

"We asked ourselves how we at Ian Fleming Publications could celebrate it, and the answer seemed obvious. Ian Fleming's On Her Majesty's Secret Service was first published on April 1 1963. According to sources, Salaar will be shot in locations that we have seen in the 2021 James Bond film. The crew&nbsp;filmed the movie in mid-March in Matera, the old southern Italian town famous for its prehistoric whitewashed caves. Matera was the setting for the prologue action sequence for the James Bond film No Time to Die. Many other international ventures have also used the same setting for shooting.&nbsp;

Currently, Salaar is being filmed in Naples. Preparations are on for filming in the southern port city's central Piazza del Plebiscito plaza. The local police are assisting with the set preparations, which include the use of drones and lighting for night shooting. Salaar will also be shot in Rome and Budapest.

While not much has been revealed, sources reveal that Salaar is about two young people from different nations who fall in love despite the distance and cultural differences, and overcome numerous challenges.&nbsp; 
 
Salaar will release in theatres on September 23 in Telugu. It will be dubbed in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and English.

Ian Fleming Publication Ltd, a company that owns the rights to Ian Fleming's works will be issuing disclaimers in the new book. “This book was written at a time when terms and attitudes which might be considered offensive by modern readers were commonplace," the proposed disclaimer will read according to the publication. “A number of updates have been made in this edition, while keeping as close as possible to the original text and the period in which it is set.” According to reports, the usage of the n-word has been replaced with 'Black person' or 'Black man'. In one of the scenes in Live and Let Die when Bond visits a strip club in Harlem, New York, a passage has been altered to remove the pigs' reference. “Bond could hear the audience panting and grunting like pigs at the trough. He felt his own hands gripping the tablecloth. A lengthy legal dispute over a never-made film starring French actress Eva Green reached London's High Court on Thursday.

Green, who starred alongside Daniel Craig in the James Bond film 'Casino Royale', is seeking payment of her acting fee for an aborted sci-fi project called 'A Patriot'.

The 42-year-old actress is suing the UK-based production company White Lantern Film, claiming she is still entitled to her fee of $1 million (£810,000). The production, announced in 2018, collapsed the following year.

White Lantern Film countersued, alleging that she derailed the £4 million project by making "unreasonable demands" and by dropping out of the lead role.

The trial is expected to last nine days, with the judge issuing a ruling at a later date.&nbsp;

Green did not appear at the first full hearing Thursday and was represented by her lawyer Edmund Cullen, but is due to give evidence on Monday.

The actress "wanted the film to be made, she bent over backwards to get this done", Cullen said, calling it a "passion project" for which she was an executive producer.

He accused the production company of trying to depict Green as a "diva to win headlines and damage her reputation".

A lawyer for White Lantern, Max Mallin, said Green had shown a "vitriolic aversion" to production plans and was "increasingly reluctant to be involved".

"We have got a critical split between the expectation of Eva Green and the film she wanted to make, and what the budget could afford," he told the court.

In written arguments, Mallin also pointed to text messages in which she harshly criticised several of the production crew members.

In them, Green calls the film's executive producer Jake Seal a "devious psychopath" and production manager Terry Bird a "moron".

Cullen conceded that Green's "language is unguarded and at times strongly and perhaps carelessly expressed".

But he accused White Lantern of trying to "lay every failure of the production at Ms Green's door" while in fact the project was in a "state of complete dysfunction".

Last year, Cullen represented two former members of the Sex Pistols who won a London court battle against ex-frontman John Lydon over the use of the punk band's music in a Disney series.

The Celebrity Net Worth website estimates Green is worth $10 million.

A James Bond sale in London featuring the fictional superspy's Aston Martin cars, suits and wristwatch has raised £6.9 million ($7.8 million) for charity -- more than all previous 007 sales at the auction house combined.

The two-part sale by Christie's and EON Productions' to mark 60 years since the premiere of first film "Dr. No" concluded on Wednesday -- the official James Bond Day.

The auction spanned all 25 films in the saga, featuring props, posters, memorabilia and experiences as well as the vehicles, watches, and costumes.

The live auction last month realised £6.1 million, with a replica of an Aston Martin DB5 used for the stunts in 2021 blockbuster "No Time to Die" selling for nearly £3 million.

The online sale, which finished on Wednesday, added another £771,000 to the total, with top earners including a signed script of 2006's "Casino Royal" (£69,3000), and a suit worn by outgoing Bond actor James Craig in 2012's "Skyfall" (£44,100).

A menu that Bond ordered caviar from after winning a card game against supervillain 'Largo'&nbsp;at a Bahamas casino in 1965's 'Thunderball'&nbsp;sold for £60,480.

Proceeds from the sale will go to various charities, including BAFTA, British Red Cross, Medecins Sans Frontieres, National Youth Theatre, Refugee Action and The Prince's Trust.

"We are delighted with the extraordinary success of the Christie's sale which benefits over 45 charities who do incredibly important work," said Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, producers at EON Productions.

Adrian Hume-Sayer, Christie's director and head of sale, said the result was "testament to the enduring appeal of one of film's greatest and best loved icons".

"This is the fourth and by far the largest official James Bond charity auction on which Christie's has been privileged to collaborate with EON Productions, we are thrilled that the money raised will benefit so many."

The money raised surpassed the combined total for all three previous official Christie's 007 sales, said the London auction house.

A James Bond sale in London featuring the fictional superspy's Aston Martin cars, suits and wristwatch has raised £6.9 million ($7.8 million) for charity -- more than all previous 007 sales at the auction house combined. The two-part sale by Christie's and EON Productions' to mark 60 years since the premiere of first film "Dr. No" concluded on Wednesday -- the official James Bond Day. The auction spanned all 25 films in the saga, featuring props, posters, memorabilia and experiences as well as the vehicles, watches, and costumes. The live auction last month realised £6.1 million, with a replica of an Aston Martin DB5 used for the stunts in 2021 blockbuster "No Time to Die" selling for nearly £3 million. The online sale, which finished on Wednesday, added another £771,000 to the total, with top earners including a signed script of 2006's "Casino Royal" (£69,3000), and a suit worn by outgoing Bond actor James Craig in 2012's "Skyfall" (£44,100). A menu that Bond ordered caviar from after winning a card game against supervillain 'Largo' at a Bahamas casino in 1965's 'Thunderball' sold for £60,480. Proceeds from the sale will go to various charities, including BAFTA, British Red Cross, Medecins Sans Frontieres, National Youth Theatre, Refugee Action and The Prince's Trust. "We are delighted with the extraordinary success of the Christie's sale which benefits over 45 charities who do incredibly important work," said Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, producers at EON Productions. Adrian Hume-Sayer, Christie's director and head of sale, said the result was "testament to the enduring appeal of one of film's greatest and best loved icons". "This is the fourth and by far the largest official James Bond charity auction on which Christie's has been privileged to collaborate with EON Productions, we are thrilled that the money raised will benefit so many." The money raised surpassed the combined total for all three previous official Christie's 007 sales, said the London auction house.
