<p>Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez was stopped at the Mumbai airport on Sunday by the Enforcement Directorate. The actress has been prohibited from travelling outside India as she is required to join an ongoing money-laundering investigation against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar and others.<br />

The 36-year-old actor was first stopped by the immigration authorities at the airport on the basis of a Look Out Circular (LoC) issued by the federal probe agency, officials stated.<br />
<br />
Agency sleuths then reached the Mumbai airport and disallowed her travel, asking her to remain in the country as she may be required to join the probe.<br />
<br />
Reports state that the actress was either travelling to Dubai or Muscat. After she was stopped, she left the airport around 6 pm.<br />
<br />
The Sri Lankan-origin actor was questioned by the ED in multiple sessions in connection with the over Rs 200 crore money laundering case being probed against Chandrashekhar and his actor wife Leena Maria Paul.<br />
<br />
The agency on Saturday filed a charge sheet before a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in this case and named Chandrashekhar, his wife and six others in it.<br />
<br />
It had alleged in the charge sheet that Chandrashekhar had gifted the actor numerous costly gifts, including some Persian cats and a horse. He is accused of cheating some people, including some high-profile individuals such as former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh's wife Aditi Singh. Another Bollywood actor-dancer Nora Fatehi has also been grilled by the ED in this case.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
A few days earlier, photos of Chandrashekhar and Jacqueline together had been widely shared on social media. The photographs are believed to be dated.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The investigation found that Chandrashekhar was lodged in the Rohini jail here when he allegedly ran an extortion racket using phone spoofing technology.<br />
<br />
The ED had arrested the couple and two co-accused, Pradeep Ramnani and Deepak Ramnani, in this case.</p>

<p>In August, the ED raided some of Chandrashekhar's premises and seized a sea-facing bungalow in Chennai, Rs 82.5 lakh in cash and over a dozen luxury cars.<br />

It had claimed in a statement that Chandrashekhar is a "known conman" and is being probed by the Delhi Police in a case of alleged criminal conspiracy, cheating and extortion to the tune of about Rs 200 crore.</p>

<p>"Chandrasekhar is the mastermind of this fraud. He has been part of the crime world since the age of 17. He has multiple FIRs against him...," the ED had said.<br />

Despite being in the jail, it said, Chandrashekhar "did not stop conning" people, the ED said.<br />
<br />
"He (using a cellphone procured illegally in prison) with the help of technology, made spoofed calls to dupe people as the numbers displayed on the called party's phone number belonged to senior government officers.<br />
<br />
"While speaking (from prison) to these persons, he claimed to be a government officer offering to help people for a price," the ED had claimed.<br />
<br />
Chandrasekhar and Paul were also arrested by the Delhi Police.<br />
<br />
The police recently invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in the case.<br />
<br />
The Delhi Police had alleged that Paul and Chandrashekhar, along with others, used Hawala routes, created shell companies to park the money earned from proceeds of crime.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Manoj Bajpayee and Jacqueline Fernandez are collaborating together for the first time for a Netflix film 'Mrs Serial Killer' and the OTT has finally released the trailer of their project.</p>

<p>Streaming from May 1 onwards, 'Mrs Serial Killer' as the name suggests is about a woman serial killer, plyed by Jacqueline so as to save her husband (played by Manoj) from a wrong accusation that leads him to jail. In one dialogue, she can be heard saying, "I will do anything to save my husband".</p>

<p>The trailer shows Jacqueline torturing women so thats he can prove a serial killer is on the loose so that Manoj can be freed as he is serving jail time for killing a woman.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While the trailer hints at a psychopath killer, the film seems to revolve around Jacqueline’s character who deals with the situation in her own way.</p>

<p>The film is directed by Shirish Kunder&nbsp;and is produced by Farah Khan.&nbsp;Sharing the trailer, Farah wrote “Even psychopaths have emotions... then again, MAYBE NOT!”</p>

The singer-rapper has been accused of not giving credit to one Ratan Kahar of West Bengal who originally had penned the Bengali folk on which the song is based.<br />

Now, addressing the controversy around his latest hit, Badshah has issued a statement clarifying his stand on the matter. Mentioning that his team had done due diligence before adopting the song, the rapper stated that his primary research had made him believe that the song was a tradition/folk song of Bengal- sung by the Bauls. "Traditional songs are open for recreations/reprises/sampling globally," said the long post on Badshah's social media handle.<br />

The singer stated that he has always used elements of various folk songs from different regions in the country and that his latest, Genda Phool was an attempt at presenting the "gorgeous melody of the Bengali Language and the forgotten instrument of Dotara."<br />

Badshah, however, stated that after the recent uproar around the song and its original lyricist, he tried to reach out to Kahar but so far has been unable to establish contact with him.</p>

''Race 3'' is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Remo D'Souza and produced by Tips Films. <p>Salman Khan arrived in the northernmost state of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday for a two-day shoot of his upcoming film <em>Race 3</em> and the cameras went crazy clicking the superstar who was spotted driving an open jeep with some local police protection.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Salman also met with the state’s chief minister Mehbooba Mufti. Pictures of their meet soon went viral on social media. The crew first reached Srinagar where they received a warm welcome from CM Mufti and spent an hour with her. Later, they travelled to Sonamarg and shot for the film.</p>

<p><em>Race 3</em> directed by Remo D’Souza is an action-packed thriller produced jointly by Ramesh S. Taurani and Salman.
