<p>The first film of the franchise, <em>Kick,</em> brought together stars like&nbsp;Salman, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Jacqueline Fernandez.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The film was released in 2014 on Eid and was a major hit at box office. Directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film was an official remake of the 2009 Telugu movie <em>Kick </em>and Tamil movie <em>Thillalangadi.</em></p>

<p>Salman, known for his Eid releases, has already locked Eid 2019 for Bharat -- &nbsp;directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.</p>
