Goalkeeper Laxmikant Kattimani made three stunning saves as Hyderabad FC clinched their maiden Indian Super League title after defeating Kerala Blasters in penalty shoot-out in the summit clash here on Sunday.

Roy Krishna scored in the 79th minute to give ATKMB a glimmer of hope and make for an end-to-end last ten minutes but in the end, it was not enough for the finalists of last season as the men in yellow booked a final date with Kerala Blasters at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda on Sunday.

Hyderabad head coach Manolo Marquez played the same team that won the first leg 3-1 while Juan Ferrando made a few changes to the ATKMB side from the last game with the ever-dependable centre-back Tiri being a forced one as he picked up an injury in the last game. Kiyan Nassiri -- who scored a memorable hat-trick in the Kolkata derby earlier this season -- got a start.

Colaco's industry could have paid dividends soon but the local boy curled his effort just wide of target after dribbling past a few Hyderabad shirts inside the box. At the other end, Aniket Jadhav spurned a gilt-edged chance to make it 4-1 on aggregate for Hyderabad from a Yasir ball, nodding a free header from five yards, wide.

The best chance of the half, though, fell to Hugo Boumous who could not stab home from handshaking distance after a pin-point Prabir Das cross set him up perfectly, the French-Moroccan sliding in to get a touch on the ball as well but only dragging his effort wide.

Just before halftime, Joni Kauko shot wide, to sum up ATKMB's half of missed opportunities.

Jamshedpur needed to draw to finish top of the table and clinch the League Shield, and the Red Miners rode Ritwik's goal in the 56th minute to ensure they finish the season on a high, capping off a stellar campaign under Owen Coyle.

They finished with 43 points from 20 games, winning 13 games.

Mirlan Murzaev (4th) helped Chennaiyin take the lead before Bengaluru scored twice through Cleiton Silva (39th P) and Alan Costa (43rd), albeit riding a bit of luck.

Rahim Ali (49th) got Chennaiyin level but Udanta Singh (70th) and Pratik Chowdhary (74th) ensured the Blues'&nbsp;wretched run came to an end as they moved to eighth in the points table from 10th with nine points from the same number of games. Chennaiyin remained on sixth place from eight games having 11 points.

Deshorn Brown's powerful hat-trick ensured Mumbai City FC remained winless after two matches as NorthEast United FC played out an intense 3-3 draw against the defending champions in a high-octane Hero Indian Super League clash here on Monday.

Brown scored in the 29th, 56th and 80th minute as Igor Angulo (33rd, 52nd) and Bipin Singh (40th) scored either side of his treble in a match that ebbed and flowed from start to finish.

The result means Mumbai sit at the top of the pile with 16 points from eight games but have drawn after their 0-3 loss to Kerala Blasters. NorthEast United remain ninth having eight points from nine games.

The breakthrough finally came in the 42nd minute through a corner kick. Ivan Gonzalez came up with his first of the season, getting on the end of a freekick from the left after Dohling did well to flick it on at the near post.

FC Goa came out the stronger of the two sides following the break. However, against the run of play, Odish equalised.

Jonathas made the most of his physical prowess as he bundled the ball over the line in the 53rd minute after a deflected cross from the left by Nandhakumar caught out the Gaurs' defence.

Odisha continued to build on the momentum from the goal and nearly took the lead in the 72nd minute.

SC East Bengal held Hyderabad FC to a 1-1 draw but could not stop the Nizams from jumping into second place on the points table, in their 2021-22 Indian Super League fixture at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Thursday.

Hyderabad extended their unbeaten run to six matches but the Red &amp; Gold Brigade remain winless in eight matches.

Amir Dervisevic (20') gave SC East Bengal an early lead against the run of play with a brilliant free-kick but Bartholomew Ogbeche (35') scored with a header to bring the match level.

The Yellow Army rise to third place in the points table while handing the Marina Machans their second defeat of the season, which sees them drop to sixth.

Jorge Pereyra Diaz (9') gave KBFC the lead by scoring his third goal of the campaign prior to Sahal Abdul Samad (38`) doubling the advantage before halftime. Adrian Luna (79') then scored his first goal of the season to put the result beyond any doubt in the second half.

Juan Ferrando got off to a winning start as ATK Mohun Bagan coach after the Kolkata side registered a thrilling 3-2 win against NorthEast United in the Indian Super League game at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Tuesday. 
 
Ferrando jumped ship from FC Goa to Mohun Bagan after the Mariners let go of Antonio Lopez Habas in a dramatic turn of events over the last week.

During the match, Ferrando looked unfazed by the noise around him and went about his job but was rocked early on as VP Suhair gave NorhEast United the lead in the 2nd minute.

Hugo Boumous (53rd, 76th) scored a brace after Liston Colaco (45th) equalised for Bagan but Mashoor Shereef (87th) got the Highlanders in the game late on. In the end, the Kolkata side held firm and recorded their first win in four matches.

Mohun Bagan now have 11 points from seven games. NorthEast United remain in the ninth spot with seven points from eight matches. 
 
Stung by the early setback, Mohun Bagan upped the ante and should have pulled level but for Manvir Singh who fired over the bar from inside the box.

Roy Krishna had a couple of half-chances thereafter but good reflexes from Mirshad Michu in the NorthEast goal and Krishna`s inefficiency keep the ball in target kept the score to 1-0. 
 
For the Highlanders, seasoned defender Gurjinder Kumar got injured in the 26th minute and had to be replaced by Tondonba Singh. Colaco forced Michu into action with a fierce effort from an angle inside the box but the keeper did well to avert the danger.

Sahal Abdul Samad (27th), Alvaro Vazquez (47th) and Jorge Pereyra Diaz (51st, penalty) got on the scoresheet for Kerala who moved to fifth in the points table with nine points from six games.

Mumbai remained top of the heap but the result means Hyderabad FC, Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC can now close the gap on the reigning champions. Mourtada Fall was given the marching orders in the second half to make matters worse for the Islanders.
