I was like people are not understanding.” He also spoke about how he used to lock himself inside a room and stay away from his friends and everyone.</p><h2>‘I asked for death’</h2><p>Revealing how his spiritual journey helped him in recovery, the singer said how he asked for death from god as he was unable to control himself.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>“I told God, sorry, I disrespected you, I didn’t believe in you, so now whoever you are, whatever your name is, I’m going to start respecting you because I want something from you, and that was death because I was unable to control what was happening inside me. He went on to allege that Mehwish Hayat had once claimed she would never work in Bollywood or work with any Indian and now seen “wearing vulgar clothes and working with Honey Singh”.</p>

I have never issued a public statement or press note in the past despite being subjected to harsh criticism for my lyrics, speculation on my health, &amp; negative media coverage in general. However, I see no merit in maintaining a studied silence this time because some of the allegations have been directed at my family — my old parents and younger sister — who have stood by me during some very difficult and trying times and comprise my world. The allegations are cynical and defaming in nature.”</p>

Everyone is aware of my relationship with my wife, who has been an integral part of my crew for more than a decade now and always accompanied me to my shoots, events, and meetings. I have full faith in the judicial system of this country, and I am confident that the truth will be out soon,” he added.</p>

"The respondent (Singh) broke the applicant as an individual, mentally and emotionally. The applicant, due to the continuous cruelty imposed on her, almost started identifying herself as a farm animal, shepherded from here to there while being treated cruelly," read the plea.</p>

<p>The complaint states that he “began having frequent casual sex with multiple women” while he was travelling and “to further his sexual intents and illicit relationships, never disclosed to the public ... that he was married”.&nbsp;</p>

The complainant accused&nbsp;Yo Yo Honey Singh of trying to conceal his proclivities from the time they got married at a Delhi Gurudwara back in 2011.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She also accused him of engaging in substance abuse and having an affair with a Punjabi movie actress.</p>

<p>Taking cognizance of the complaint, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Tania Singh, issued a notice to Honey Singh to appear before her on August 28.&nbsp;</p>

The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate also passed interim orders restraining the rapper from disposing of the property he jointly owned with his wife as well as her ‘stridhan’ (dowry).</p>

The complainant accused Yo Yo Honey Singh of trying to conceal his proclivities from the time they got married at a Delhi Gurudwara back in 2011. She also accused him of engaging in substance abuse and having an affair with a Punjabi movie actress. Taking cognizance of the complaint, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Tania Singh, issued a notice to Honey Singh to appear before her on August 28. The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate also passed interim orders restraining the rapper from disposing of the property he jointly owned with his wife as well as her ‘stridhan’ (dowry). The Punjabi rapper is known for his work in Bollywood films like ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’.

Mohali's Senior Superintendent of Police, Harcharan Singh Bhullar told a news agency about these developments and added, "The contents are objectionable," saying that both the rapper and the producer will be summoned soon.<br />

The Chairperson of Punjab Women Commission, Manisha Gulati said that she had written to the Director General of Police to register a case against the singer for using lyrics like "Main Hoon womaniser (I am a womaniser)".<br />

"The lyrics are indecent and have a degrading influence on society" she continued.&nbsp;<br />

"A legal action and an inquiry is required to be initiated by the police on the matter as the song readied by T-series chairman Bhushan Kumar and singers Honey Singh and Neha Kakkar uses vulgar words against women," she further added.</p>
