Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti on Saturday steered away from talk of Kylian Mbappe signing for the Spanish giants in the summer at the end of his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

France captain Mbappe, 25, has told the French side he will leave at the end of the season, a source close to PSG told AFP Thursday.

Superstar striker Mbappe is heavily linked with Madrid, who have tried to sign him multiple times in the past few years and may finally get their man.

"I can see and hear, I understand it's the topic of the day for you, but not for us, for us it's tomorrow's game," Ancelotti told a news conference ahead of Madrid's visit to face Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.

"People can talk, I understand it's the story of the day ... I want to finish this season well and win titles.

"There's a lot of time left to think about next season."

Ancelotti said he did not think the league leaders' squad would be affected by rumours and talk surrounding Mbappe in the weeks ahead.

"Do you think I look affected? No, no," said Ancelotti.

Spanish newspaper Marca said Mbappe informed Madrid of his decision to leave PSG on Tuesday.

On Friday PSG coach Luis Enrique refused to comment on Mbappe's decision.

"I am going to avoid talking about this subject until the parties involved speak about it," said the former Barcelona coach.

"Kylian Mbappe has not said anything publicly and neither has the club. I am the coach and when the other parties have spoken, I'll give my opinion."

"It is a dream, an honor and a huge pride to serve the national team," Diniz said.&nbsp;

The 49-year-old will be in charge of the six South American qualifying games for the 2026 World Cup that will be played this year, including the clashes with Argentina and Uruguay.&nbsp;

Brazil will start their qualifying campaign in September at home against Bolivia and then away against Peru.

Football: Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti to coach Brazil from 2024 Copa America - Reports

AC Milan, the football club which won a host of domestic and European titles under Silvio Berlusconi's ownership, called him "unforgettable" in a tribute after his death aged 86 Monday.

"Thank you, Mr President. Always with us," the club said in a statement, adding it was "grieving the passing of the unforgettable Silvio Berlusconi".

"Tomorrow, we will dream of new ambitions, create new challenges, and seek new victories. Which will represent the good, the strong, and the true that lies inside us, in all of us who shared this adventure of binding our lives to a dream called Milan," the statement continued.

Berlusconi reigned supreme at Milan from 1986 until 2017, during which time the club won 29 trophies, including five Champions League and eight Italian league titles.

Carlo Ancelotti, who won two Champions League titles as a player for AC Milan in 1989 and 1990 before then coaching the club to two more European successes in 2003 and 2007, led the tributes to the former club president.

"Today's sadness doesn't erase the happy moments spent together," Ancelotti, the current Real Madrid manager, tweeted along with a photo of him standing beside Berlusconi. "There remains infinite gratitude to the president, but above all to an ironic, loyal, intelligent, sincere man, fundamental in my adventure as a football player first, and then as a coach. Thanks President."

AC Monza, the club Berlusconi and his long-standing business partner Adriano Galliani bought in 2018 after he sold AC Milan said the former Italian prime minister's death left an unfillable hole.

"Adriano Galliani and AC Monza mourn the passing of president Silvio Berlusconi," the club said in a statement. "A gap that will never be filled, forever with us. Thank you for everything presidente."

When Berlusconi purchased Monza in 2018, the club was in the third tier of Italian football.

Berlusconi vowed to take Monza to Serie A and with the help of Galliani, the team based near Milan reached the top flight for the first time in their history last season. Monza will play in the Italian top flight again next season after finishing the just-completed campaign in 11th place.

A second former legendary coach of AC Milan, Arrigo Sacchi, hailed the memory of "a fabulous friend to whom I owe everything", cited by the Ansa news agency.

Several other clubs also joined in tributes, including Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of Italian champions Napoli expressing his "condolences".

"Silvio Berlusconi changed the history of Italian football," said Gabriele Gravina, president of the Italian football federation.

"His contribution in terms of passion, innovation and investments, always with particular attention to the beautiful game, has been fundamental for the affirmation of our football at international level."

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted they were beaten by the better side as they suffered a painful 4-0 demolition at Manchester City on Wednesday that completed a 5-1 aggregate defeat in their Champions League semi-final.

City, who were beaten by Real at the same stage last season, avenged that heartbreaking defeat with a brilliant performance in front of their jubilant fans, with only Real goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois preventing them inflicting even more damage.

"They played better than us and deserved to win," Ancelotti told reporters. "They put a lot of pressure at the beginning, it worked out well for them because they made it very difficult for us to get the ball in play and they went two goals ahead.

"From then on, it was difficult to get back into the game. We tried in the second half... but it didn't work out."

Ancelotti admitted it was a painful night but said it was too soon to analyse what had gone wrong.

"Evaluating today, at this moment, makes no sense," he said. "It is a defeat that hurts, it hurts a lot. But it can happen. We reached the semi-finals of the Champions League against a strong opponent, they played better and left us without a final. We have to learn and for the next season, to be better."

A year after winning a LaLiga and Champions League double, and becoming the first manager to capture titles in each of Europe’s top five leagues, Ancelotti was facing up to finishing the campaign with just a Spanish Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup to show for their efforts.

He did, however, set another record on Wednesday, becoming the coach with the most European Cup games (191), surpassing the mark set by former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson.

But with their rivals Barcelona crowned LaLiga champions last weekend with four-games to spare, Ancelotti was left searching for a silver lining.

"I think it was a good season. We have to show up in the few games we have ahead of us," Ancelotti said. "I think that reaching a Champions League semi-final is a success because only four teams make it to the last four."

Carlo Ancelotti believes Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos will stay at Real Madrid next season, the Los Blancos coach told a news conference Friday.
