<p>Things have gone extreme south for former partners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as the two continue to debate over the ownership and sale of their winery estate. As the two looked in action at the Venice Film Festival, their discord became a highlight since the organisers had to schedule the premieres of their respective films on different days, so that the two wouldn’t have to meet.</p>

<p>Angelina Jolie attended the festival for the premiere of her film, <em>Maria</em> while Brad Pitt attended with best friend George Clooney for his film <em>Wolfs</em>. Brad came hand in hand with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon. <h2><strong>Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s legal troubles don’t seem to end</strong></h2>

<p>The two have been warring over their divorce, custody of children, and asset division for a while now. When asked how he feels about the long divorce battle with his former flame, Brad told the media that he finds the whole situation “sad.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>A source close to Brad Pitt confirmed that Brad “is not rooting against” Angelina Jolie and only finds the whole situation “incredibly sad.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>The conflict between the two has been going on for eight years now.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, their mutual friends and peers find it “shocking” that they still “can’t find a resolution and finalise the divorce.” Another source added that they hope that the two can “resolve the matrimonial side of things while the Miraval case plays out. Things have gone extreme south for former partners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as the two continue to debate over the ownership and sale of their winery estate. As the two looked in action at the Venice Film Festival, their discord became a highlight since the organisers had to schedule the premieres of their respective films on different days, so that the two wouldn’t have to meet. Angelina Jolie attended the festival for the premiere of her film, Maria while Brad Pitt attended with best friend George Clooney for his film Wolfs. Brad came hand in hand with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon. Angelina came alone and looked quite a stunner at the red carpet. In pics: Brad Pitt, girlfriend Ines enjoy romantic double date with George Clooney, Amal in Venice Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s legal troubles don’t seem to end The two have been warring over their divorce, custody of children, and asset division for a while now. When asked how he feels about the long divorce battle with his former flame, Brad told the media that he finds the whole situation “sad.” A source close to Brad Pitt confirmed that Brad “is not rooting against” Angelina Jolie and only finds the whole situation “incredibly sad.” The conflict between the two has been going on for eight years now. Meanwhile, their mutual friends and peers find it “shocking” that they still “can’t find a resolution and finalise the divorce.” Another source added that they hope that the two can “resolve the matrimonial side of things while the Miraval case plays out. Hopefully, they can both get on the same page.” The Miraval case refers to a separate ongoing legal battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt regarding the Château Miraval, the French villa and winery they bought back in 2012 for $60 million. George Clooney takes shots at pal Brad Pitt's age: He's 74 years old

<p>George Clooney has slammed down an article that stated that he and his co-star Brad Pitt were each paid more than $ 35 million for their new film <em>Wolf. </em>The actor addressed the rumour during a press conference at the ongoing Venice Film Festival on Sunday where their film premiered.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The article had reportedly appeared on The New York Times which Clooney termed as 'interesting'.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
“Whatever her source was for our salary, it is millions and millions and millions of dollars less than what was reported,” claimed Clooney. “And I am only saying that because I think it’s bad for our industry if that’s what people think is the standard bearer for salaries. I think that’s terrible, it’ll make it impossible to make films.”<br />
<br />
The actor's comments came after last year's WGA and SAF AFTRA strikes which highlighted on how poorly the industry has paid talent over the years.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/hollywood/news-in-pics-brad-pitt-girlfriend-ines-enjoy-romantic-double-date-with-geoge-clooney-amal-in-venice-755147">In pics: Brad Pitt, girlfriend Ines enjoy romantic double date with George Clooney, Amal in Venice</a><br />
<br />
In a statement last year, Clooney had emphasised that “actors and writers in large numbers have lost their ability to make a living“.</p>

<p>“This is an inflection point in our industry,” said Clooney at the time. “For our industry to survive, that has to change. For actors, that journey starts now.”<br />

<br />
Written and directed by Jon Watts, <em>Wolfs</em> stars Clooney and Pitt as warring, competing fixers who are hired to cover up a high-profile crime and forced to work together.<br />
<br />
The movie earned a five-minute, 35-second ovation during its world premiere on Sunday in Venice.<br />
<br />
The film is set to have a limited theatrical release before it heads to Apple TV. Commenting on the limited release on September 20, Clooney said that it was a 'bummer' that the film won't see a wider release.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
“Yes, we wanted it to be released (in theatres),” he said.</p>

<p>“We’ve had some bumps along the way, that happens. When I did <em>The Boys in the Boat,</em> we did it for MGM, and then it ended up being for Amazon and we didn’t get a foreign release at all, which was a surprise,” added Clooney.<br />

<p>Organisers of the Venice International Film Festival are taking extra measures to ensure former couple Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie do not cross paths. The two actors are at the festival currently to promote their respective movies.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
In a recent interview, the festival's artistic director, Alberto Barbera, revealed that the event's schedule was carefully planned to prevent any overlap between the two stars' film premieres.<br />
<br />
“Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday (August&nbsp;29), and she will leave right after with Maria director Pablo Larraín” for the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, Barbera said. “So Brad will arrive only on Saturday, in Venice. There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido."&nbsp;<br />
<br />
Lido is the famed island where the festival is held.<br />
<br />

Organisers of the Venice International Film Festival are taking extra measures to ensure former couple Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie do not cross paths. The two actors are at the festival currently to promote their respective movies. In a recent interview, the festival's artistic director, Alberto Barbera, revealed that the event's schedule was carefully planned to prevent any overlap between the two stars' film premieres. “Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday (August 29), and she will leave right after with Maria director Pablo Larraín” for the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, Barbera said. “So Brad will arrive only on Saturday, in Venice. There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido." Lido is the famed island where the festival is held. The couple has since then been embroiled in a nasty legal fight which has led to a lot of mudslinging from both sides. Eight years on, the couple will finally settle their divorce but creases in their settlement are yet to be eased out. Sources close to the situation reveal that despite progress and children's involvement, there are still sticking points, and much to the surprise of many the divorce is “not done yet.” 8 years later, Jolie and Pitt's divorce case remains unsettled The high-profile divorces seem far from over despite a painful family rift. "Both sides are still talking," a source close to the matter told People on May 10, stressing that the couple is slowly approaching their final divorce settlements, "but it's not done yet." Also read: Brad Pitt files legal complaint against Angelina Jolie for selling part of shared French vineyard The divorce was originally filed by Jolie in 2016 but the former couple have not been able to agree on various issues. The couple shares six kids, including Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Pax, 20, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne 15. Over the past 8 years, many have accused Jolie of distancing the children from Brad. Four of them have already dropped Pitt from their last name, subtly indicating their chosen side in the legal tussle. Too many legal issues yet to be sorted While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were declared legally single in 2019 their divorce is yet to be finalised. The couple, among other things, have disagreed over the custody of their children. In fact, Jolie and Pitt have not been able to settle any of the matters so far. Also read: Judge orders Angelina Jolie to share details of all NDAs to solve legal issue with Brad Pitt The 2012 incident on a private jet where Jolie accused Pitt of attacking her in front of kids in an inebriated state still affects their situation and increases the complexities in the case. Moreover, the argument about Château Miraval, the French vineyard they jointly owned and where they got married, is getting nastier with each passing trial. Recently a source revealed that Pitt, 60, has no contact with his adult kids and only meets his younger kids thanks to a visitation agreement given by the court. "He has virtually no contact with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule," the source told People. Earlier this year, Pitt's daughter Shiloh filed for a legal name change after turning 18, and sources revealed that the actor was 'hurt' by this move. “He’s aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name," the insider said, "but he’s still happy with Ines (de Ramon).” Pitt is reportedly dating Ramon since the beginning of 2023. The couple made their relationship public recently at the Grand Prix where they were seen holding hands.

Eight years after filing for divorce, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's legal battle is far from over

"It's pretty recent," a source close to de Ramon told PEOPLE. "They are going very strong and she is happier than ever."<br />

The insider continued, "He is happy to live with her too. They were spending a lot of time at Brad’s. It only made sense for her to move in."<br />
