<p>Representatives for Grande, who is nominated for five Grammys at the awards show on Jan. 26, including two for '7 Rings,'&nbsp;did not immediately respond to a request by Reuters for comment.</p>

<p>The 26-year-old superstar's record label, Republic Records, also could not be reached for comment on Thursday afternoon.</p>

<p>'7 Rings,'&nbsp;which gives songwriting credit to Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein because it borrows from their classic "My Favorite Things," from the 1959 film "The Sound of Music," and spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard charts after it was released in February of last year.</p>

<p>Its founders, Do Won and Jin Sook Chang, are worth $1.5 billion according to Forbes magazine. Their daughters, Linda and Esther Chang, opened the first Riley Rose boutique in 2017.</p>

<p>According to Grande's complaint, Forever 21 and Riley Rose misappropriated at least 30 images and videos, including by using audio and lyrics from her recent No. 1 single "7 Rings," and by using the look-alike model.</p>

<p>"The resemblance is uncanny," the complaint said.</p>

<p>Grande's lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court seeks damages for copyright and trademark infringement, false endorsement, and violating her right of publicity.</p>

Indonesia bans Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran's songs over 'pornographic lyrics'

<p>After picking up Best Pop Vocal Grammy earlier this month, Ariana Grande has now earned the title of the most-followed woman on Instagram. The pop singer dethroned fellow artist Selena Gomez who held the title earlier with 146,267,801 followers, but Grande has eclipsed her fellow pop star with 146,286,173 followers.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
However, both women are outpaced by soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who took the title as the most-followed person on Instagram from Gomez back in October.</p>

<p>Grande has gained more than 13 million new Instagram followers in the last four months and maintains a hyperactive presence on the platform.</p>
