In a weird incident at an airport in America, a woman literally shoved her dog into a small carrier to be able to board her flight, the New York Post reported. A video on social media shows the woman and her dog sitting at the flight gate waiting to get on the plane. An airport employee approaches the woman and tells her that she needs to put her dog into a carrier.

The woman then pulls out a small pink carrier, picks up her dog and puts it inside. Almost half of its body is still outside as she puts on the flap. She then pushes the dog's head inside and zips up the carrier. In the video, the dog seems reluctant to get in but has no choice.

The airport employee is shocked to see what she has done and tells her that the dog should be able to comfortably move in the carrier. However, the carried is clearly too small for the dog to fit in properly, let alone move around. “You can’t fly like that. The dog has to be able to move a full circle, which she cannot do in that carrier," the airport employee says.

The city of Barcelona was hit by severe flooding on Monday (Nov 4) as the officials issued a red alert warning of "extreme danger" amid torrential rain. Because of the storms and flash floods, the main airport of the city El-Prat and its surrounding areas were inundated, and people were warned to avoid travel "unless strictly necessary". In the airport, passengers were seen making their way through the water amid leaking ceilings and going from the terminal to the car park which was flooded with great torrents. According to the Live Departures board, more than 50 flights were grounded because of the flooding and many others were delayed. Most of the delayed flights were of British Airways and Iberia Airline and the officials of the airport launched a crisis committee to deal with the chaos. The company Aena, which manages El-Prat, in a statement said, "The Airport has set up its Crisis Committee to constantly monitor the impact of strong storms. The operations of JT Barcelona El Prat Airport have been affected by the strong storms affecting the Barcelona coastline and, very severely, the Baix Llobregat region." #BREAKING Barcelona on ‘extreme danger’ red alert as airport flooding cancels flights#Barcelona #Valencia #Spain Catalonia’s regional govt warned of “continuous and torrential” rain across the Barcelona metropolitan area and surrounding areas six days after flash floods… pic.twitter.com/4IGr7utwOi — 𝕏 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 (@cheguwera) November 4, 2024 × #Barcelona today#floods pic.twitter.com/loMKbJ8Yx3 — 24 Hours Europe (@24heuropegr) November 4, 2024 × "So far, 17 arrival flights have been diverted to alternative airports, while around fifty departure flights have been cancelled by airlines or are experiencing considerable delays.
