<p>Bollywood turned up in full force at Umang 2018, the annual celebrations of the Mumbai Police that has actors performing for the police force and their family members each year. From Shah Rukh Khan to Deepika Padukone to Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Kangana Ranaut- some of the biggest stars were seen at the event on Saturday in Mumbai.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Maharashtra Chief Minister Devender Fadnavis was also present along with his two daughters as his wife, Amruta performed on stage. The night saw performances from many singers including Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshamiyya and Monali Thakur as well actresses like Kriti Sanon, Malaika Arora and Sophie Choudhary.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The previous year, 2017, ended on a happy note for the Bollywood industry with the massive success of &quot;Tiger Zinda Hai&quot;, Salman and Katrina starrer&nbsp;that was a sequel to the hit film &quot;Ek Tha Tiger&quot; with the same star cast.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This year is hopeful of bringing many more successful films to the viewers with three big releases lineup up for the Khan trio -- Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Diwali with Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan</strong></p>

<p>Aamir is all set to star in a period drama -- Yash Raj Films&#39; &quot;Thugs of Hindostan&quot;. It&nbsp;will have Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan essaying pivotal roles -- a first for both the stars to be acting together. Since the start of its shooting, both Aamir and Amitabh&#39;s looks has been the talk of the town.</p>

<p>Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film&nbsp;hit the big screen on 7 November during Diwali.</p>

<p>The movie also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the female leads.</p>

<p>Zaira Wasim, who shot to fame for playing the role of younger Geeta Phogat in the much-acclaimed Bollywood movie &#39;&#39;Dangal&#39;&#39;, posted an apology on Twitter and Facebook after she was trolled on social media for meeting the chief minister of the northern Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.</p>

<p>The actress said in her social media post, which was later taken down by her, that she was just a 16-year-old kid and that people should treat her likewise.</p>

<p>Some of the trolls asked her as to why she met the chief minister when she could&#39;ve instead met the victims of the turmoil being witnessed in Indian Kashmir.</p>

<p>Omar Abdullah, who is a prominent opposition leader in Jammu and Kashmir, tweeted his disgust with such trolls forcing a 16-year-old to apologise for no fault of hers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While Zaira has not revealed any reason behind her apology, social media space is buzzing with speculation that the apology was the result of some kind of threat and pressure.</p>

<p>The post further reads that she wants to apologize to all those whom she might have &ldquo;unintentionally hurt&rdquo;.</p>

<p>Zaira termed her recent actions as &ldquo;not deliberate&rdquo;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She hoped that she will be forgiven for her &ldquo;unintentional&rdquo; actions.</p>

<p>She also said that people should stop calling her the role-model of youngsters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, chief minister Mehbooba Mufti today while referring to her meeting with Zaira said that these girls must be encouraged for they are the real stars of the people.</p>

Darsheel Safary, who kissed stardom at the tender age of nine in Aamir Khan starrer &#39;Taare Zameen Par&#39;, feels coming back to the film industry will not be yet another fight for him.<br />

&quot;My comeback will not be a different fight, as I have not been that away from the industry. I have done shows, events, theatres and even reality shows. I have done small things once in a year so that the people remember there is someone called Darsheel Safary,&quot; he told ANI on the sidelines of day one of India Kids Fashion Week.<br />
