Lok Sabha Elections, Phase 2: The world’s largest democracy is undergoing one of its biggest elections. The polling for the general elections in 2024 started on April 19, which was the first of the seven-phase elections. Several states in India are now voting in the second phase of election on Friday (Apr 26).

The elections will conclude on June 1 and counting of votes will be done on June 4.

The first phase of the polling covered 102 constituencies of 21 states and union territories (UTs). Ten states and UTs were fully covered, while 11 states and UTs were partially covered.

The second phase will cover 89 Lok Sabha constituencies across 13 states: Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Phase 2 timing and schedule

The voting for the second phase of elections startedon Friday (Apr 26) at 7:00 am IST and will end at 5 pm IST. To find out which polling booth in your assembly area you are supposed to vote, use the EPIC number present on the Voter ID Card.
