<p>Taking a leaf out of Apple’s playbook, the US tech giant Google is also banking on India to diversify its supply chain away from China. According to a report by Bloomberg, Google is scouting for suppliers in India to assemble its Pixel smartphones in the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The California-based company is believed to have already started conversations with India’s homegrown companies like Lava International Limited and Dixon Technologies India Ltd. Google is also in talks with Foxconn Technology Group’s Indian unit Bharat FIH to set up a wide supplier base in India.</p>

<p>"The reason why Xi Jinping got very upset in terms of when I shot that balloon down with two box cars full of spy equipment in it was he didn't know it was there," Biden said at the fundraiser.</p>

<p>"That's a great embarrassment for dictators. When they didn't know what happened. That wasn't supposed to be going where it was. It was blown off course," Biden added.</p>

Expert fears missing Titanic submersible may have imploded into pieces

<p>Former CNN producer John Griffin was sentenced to more than 19 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl, revealed prosecutors. Griffin earlier pleaded guilty to child sex charges last December as a part of a plea deal which saw two other counts of child sex charges initially filed against him dropped.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 45-year-old Connecticut man reportedly met a woman online and persuaded her to bring her 9-year-old daughter to his house, where he engaged with the minor girl in illicit sexual activity. According to New York Post, the mother, Heather Carriker, was also arrested and slapped with child sex charges.</p>

<p>A victim during Tuesday’s hearing told the judge that she has difficulties trusting people while telling Griffin that “You make me sad and angry.”</p>

<h2><strong>John Griffin: A proven paedophile</strong></h2>

<p>As per prosecutors, Griffin would communicate with parents having minor girls over Google Hangouts and lure them into making their girls engage in sexual activity with himself. During one of those conversations, Griffin would once say that a “woman is a woman regardless of her age” and that women should be sexually subservient and inferior to men.</p>

<p>In June 2020, Griffin instructed the mother of a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old girl that her responsibility was to ensure her older daughter was "properly trained." He then transferred over $3,000 to the woman for plane tickets, enabling the mother and her 9-year-old daughter to travel from Nevada to Boston.</p>

<p>According to prosecutors, the mother and child flew to Boston in July 2020, where Griffin picked them up in his Tesla and drove them to his residence in Ludlow. At his house, the daughter was coerced into engaging in unlawful sexual activity.</p>

<h2><strong>Other charges of child sex against Griffin</strong></h2>

<p>In exchange for Griffin's guilty plea filed last December, prosecutors dismissed two charges related to allegations that he also attempted to entice two other children into sexual activities. One of these allegations involved a mother and her 14-year-old daughter, to whom Griffin offered a "virtual training session."</p>

In June 2020, Griffin instructed the mother of a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old girl that her responsibility was to ensure her older daughter was "properly trained." He then transferred over $3,000 to the woman for plane tickets, enabling the mother and her 9-year-old daughter to travel from Nevada to Boston. According to prosecutors, the mother and child flew to Boston in July 2020, where Griffin picked them up in his Tesla and drove them to his residence in Ludlow. At his house, the daughter was coerced into engaging in unlawful sexual activity. Other charges of child sex against Griffin In exchange for Griffin's guilty plea filed last December, prosecutors dismissed two charges related to allegations that he also attempted to entice two other children into sexual activities. One of these allegations involved a mother and her 14-year-old daughter, to whom Griffin offered a "virtual training session." The 24-year-old suspect embarked on the rampage at 9 PM Monday and caused injuries to at least four people, who were rushed to hospitals and were in stable condition.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Stuart Broad revived England's hopes of winning an enthralling opening Ashes test with a superb late burst just when Australia appeared to have taken the upper hand on Monday.</p>

<p>After bowling England out for 273 just before tea on the fourth day, Australia set about their 281 victory target in serene fashion but ended the day wobbling on 107 for three.</p>

<p>Australia's opener David Warner and first innings centurion Usman Khawaja looked rock-solid, putting on 61 before Warner edged a beauty from Ollie Robinson having made a fluent 36.</p>

<p>With England off-spinner Moeen Ali struggling for grip with a cut hand, Broad then returned for a second spell to swing the momentum back towards the hosts.</p>

<p>Whipping the raucous crowd into a frenzy, he had world number one test batsman Marnus Labuschagne caught behind for 13, having removed him for a duck in the first innings.</p>

<p>Steve Smith (6) then edged another Broad delivery into the waiting gloves of England keeper Jonny Bairstow.</p>

<p>Khawaja, who scored his first century in England in the first innings, remained unbeaten at the close on 34 with night watchman Scott Boland on 13 not out.</p>

<p>Rain is expected early on Tuesday before drier conditions and, with Australia requiring a further 174 runs and England needing seven wickets, a draw looks a remote possibility.</p>

<p>Instead of a cagey start, however, Joe Root immediately went into full 'Bazzball' mode, attempting a reverse scoop off the first ball of the day bowled by Pat Cummins, missing it, and seeing the ball whistle over his stumps, before breaking into a smile.</p>

<p>Root then produced two more reverse scoops in the next over off Boland, the first going for four and the second for an outrageous six, then pummelled a more conventional boundary.</p>

<p>Initially bamboozled, Australia struck back with Cummins flattening Ollie Pope's off stump with a superb inswinger.</p>

<p>Root was joined by Harry Brook and they put on a swift 52 in 49 balls with Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon's opening over of the day going for 14.</p>

<p>Lyon hit back though and deceived a charging Root who was stumped by wicketkeeper Alex Carey for 46 -- the first time in 131 tests he has been dismissed in that way.</p>

<p>Cummins then angled a ball in to the pads of Stokes who reviewed his lbw in hope more than expectation.</p>

<p>Moeen also got a good start but was out caught behind trying to swipe away a short Josh Hazlewood ball.</p>

<p>Robinson, Broad and Anderson then added useful late runs to push Australia's victory target over the 250 mark.</p>
