US President Joe Biden's Warsaw speech receives mixed reactions

<p>A US jury has convicted Mexico's former security minister Genaro Garcia Luna of drug trafficking. The verdict comes after a four-week trial and three days of jury deliberation. Prosecutors claimed that the&nbsp;former Mexican head had accepted millions of dollars stuffed in briefcases by Mexico's biggest crime group, the Sinaloa drug cartel.</p>

<p>The US Department of Justice said that Luna could face life in prison or will serve the mandatory minimum jail term of 20 years, BBC reported.</p>

<p>The former minister was said to have widely shared information with the Sinaloa drug cartel about rivals and warned the group about law enforcement&nbsp;operations.</p>

<p>His&nbsp;case of drug trafficking came to light during a trial against Guzman who was sentenced to life in prison plus 30 years&nbsp;in 2019.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The panel has not changed this wording but has added other factors including intoxication, drugging, being caught off guard and psychological control into the definition.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The ministry's official Yusuke Asanuma said that the move isn't made to make it easier or more challenging for the rape victims but that it should make verdicts 'more consistent.'</p>

<p>In 2019, a case in Japan saw a man go free after being accused of having intercourse&nbsp;with his teenage daughter, even though the court agreed that it was done against the wish of his daughter. He was later sent to prison after prosecutors appealed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The government could pass this law as early as summer. Despite the&nbsp;potential to change the age of consent, the country will have an exception for intercourse between people who are at least 13 and who have an age gap of less than five years.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A letter that was supposed to be delivered to its destination a century ago, has finally been delivered now. The letter was originally sent in 1916, at its intended address in Hamlet Road, south London. The owner of the house, Glen received the letter after a century, but recently took it to the local historical society, so that further research could be done.&nbsp;Finally, Glen told CNN, "we noticed that the year on it was '16. So we thought it was 2016." He added&nbsp;that he noticed that there was a stamp of a King and not a Queen, so he felt that it couldn't have been 2016.</p>

He added that the letter was written by Christabel Mennel, daughter of tea merchant Henry Tuke Mennel, while her family was in Bath in Western England, where Mennel writes, "I've been most miserable here with a very heavy cold."</p>

<p>The magazine is currently producing a full report on the letter. Yet it's still a mystery as to how it arrived at Glen's residence.</p>

A letter that was supposed to be delivered to its destination a century ago, has finally been delivered now. The letter was originally sent in 1916, at its intended address in Hamlet Road, south London.

The owner of the house, Glen received the letter after a century, but recently took it to the local historical society, so that further research could be done. Finally, Glen told CNN, "we noticed that the year on it was '16. So we thought it was 2016." He added that he noticed that there was a stamp of a King and not a Queen, so he felt that it couldn't have been 2016. Glen, 27, who lives with his girlfriend, said that once they realised that the letter was old, they felt it was okay to open it. Though, as per the Postal Services 2000, it's a crime to open mail not addressed to you. But Glen said that he can only apologise if he has committed a crime. Editor of the magazine, Stephen Oxford, said, "As a local historian, I am amazed and delighted to have the details of the letter passed to me." Oxford said that the letter was addressed to "my dear katie." He added that the letter was written by Christabel Mennel, daughter of tea merchant Henry Tuke Mennel, while her family was in Bath in Western England, where Mennel writes, "I've been most miserable here with a very heavy cold."
