<p>In superhero blockbuster Aquaman, popular Hollywood actor Jason Momoa plays the role of protector of the deep, but with the world`s oceans under threat in real life, he is also taking the fight off-screen.</p>

<p>"Without a healthy ocean life, our planet as we know would not exist," Momoa said with the sea behind him as he took part in an event on a Portuguese beach ahead of the United Nations Ocean Conference in Lisbon, which starts on Monday.</p>

<p>Around 7,000 people, from heads of state to environmental activists, are expected to attend the conference, which was postponed from 2020 to this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.</p>

<p>Dozens of youth activists from various countries clapped and cheered as Momoa, who will soon become the U.N. Environment Programme advocate for Life Below Water, spoke about the problems facing the world`s oceans.</p>

<p>Rumours are rife that Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, who was recently in the news for his defamation trial against his ex-wife and actress Amber Heard,&nbsp;has been offered a whopping USD 301 million deal by Disney to return to the 'Pirates Of The Caribbean'&nbsp;franchise as his iconic character, Captain Jack Sparrow. Several publications have also reported that according to sources Disney has also offered an apology letter to the star. However, neither the actor nor Disney has confirmed the news yet.</p>

<p>An entertainment news portal called Poptopic.com reported the news. The Australian pop-culture gossip site spoke to a few industry insiders and&nbsp;claimed that "Disney has offered Depp a USD 301 million contract deal for him to return as Jack Sparrow in another Pirates film and a Disney Plus series!"</p>

<p>Poptopic.com reported that as per a trusted source close to the company, "Disney is very interested in patching up their relationship with Johnny Depp. They reached out to the actor prior to his defamation trial against Amber Heard and asked whether he would be interested in returning for another Pirates film or two."</p>

<p>"I know corporate sent him a gift basket with a very heartfelt letter, but I`m unsure how it was received. But what I can tell you is that the studio has already penned up a draft for a film about Jack Sparrow -- so they are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character," alleged the insider.</p>

<p>Disney is even willing to go beyond this deal to get Depp back into Jack Sparrow`s shoes, according to the sources.</p>

<p>Disney insider further added, "Disney is prepping a deal for USD$301 million deal that will include a sizable donation to a charity of Depp's choice. The deal is reportedly for Johnny Depp to return as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and a spin-off Disney Plus series about the early life of the Captain of The Black Pearl."</p>

<p>Interestingly, this reported amount of USD 301 million is just a million over the one quoted by Amber Heard`s lawyer, Elaine Charlson Bredehoft during the defamation trial.</p>

<p>She had said, "Is Disney aware that Mr Depp has testified under oath that he would not take another 'Pirates of the Caribbean'&nbsp;franchise role for USD 300 million and a million alpacas?"</p>

<p>As of now, Disney is yet to drop some hints about Depp's return to the franchise. Hence, there's a possibility that this might just be a rumour and nothing else.</p>

<p>The jury awarded Depp USD 15 million in damages but Heard will only have to pay USD 8.4 million due to a Virginia law limiting punitive damages. In her countersuit, Heard won one of the three defamation counts and was awarded USD 2 million in damages, as per People magazine.</p>

<p>Menswear proved to be in reinvigorated form as Paris Fashion Week ended on Sunday, with spectacle, innovation and the return of big-name designers to the catwalk. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The week concluded with the surprising return of fabled French designer Hedi Slimane, formerly of Dior and Saint Laurent and now with Celine. Two years ago, he had announced he was done with the official fashion calendar.</p>

<p>Slimane became hugely influential as a stylist and photographer for musicians such as David Bowie, Mick Jagger, The Libertines and Daft Punk in the early 2000s.</p>

<p>But he has not presented a live show since February 2020, having dismissed them as "obsolete", preferring to present collections with videos shot in luxurious French locales.</p>

<p>US designer Matthew Williams presented his first-ever standalone menswear show for Givenchy this week.</p>

<p>"It's good to give space to men and women, to each and everyone their platform to tell a story," Williams told fashion site WWD. "There's more room for more looks."</p>

<p>His show was grounded in real-life styles from his native California, he said, with a lot of utilitarian knee-length shorts, cargo trousers and relaxed knitwear -- much of it in monochrome with a few splashes of pastel colours.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 30-year-old has made sustainability and inclusivity central to her brand, and that was evident at her sports-themed show in a stadium outside Paris on Saturday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Many pieces were upcycled from old scarves and linen -- that had been turned into everything from speedos to flags and leotards.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The models came in all shapes and sizes, from children to older people, alongside celebrities such as ex-footballer Djibril Cisse and Paralympic gold medallist Alexis Hanquinquant, as well as Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon in one of the house's trademark moon-patterned bodysuits.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Thirty percent of our sales have been for menswear in the last collections -- we're not at 50/50 but we do quite a bit of men's and we have no intention of doing less," Serre told AFP after the show.</p>

And back in Delhi, I used to be a host in PVR cinemas where all the top actors would come to promote their films. Interestingly, when I was in Delhi recently for my film's promotions, I had to visit the same PVR cinema with the same actor whose film I once promoted. Anil Kapoor sir was with me. I even got the picture where I can be seen promoting Anil sir's film in the PVR. So, I think god has been really really kind but it has been a long journey." Indeed, that's a dream come true moment for any actor.</p>

<p>When prompted to talk about some behind-the-scenes action from 'Jugjugg Jeeyo' sets, the actor shared how he left the crew impressed and got the "one-take actor" title.</p>

<p>"Everybody on the set knew one thing that if Maniesh Paul is on set, it will be a one-take shot. That is&nbsp;one thing I maintained and I never took a retake, unless there was a technical issue or some dialogue had to be changed. Otherwise, whatever script they gave me, I delivered everything in one take," the actor shared.</p>

Taking to social media, Lily confirmed the news on Saturday and posted a selfie in which her growing baby bump was visible. She could be seen wearing a black and red floral top. The 33-year-old ‘Vanished’ star captioned the post saying: "Not a burrito belly." Meanwhile, her fiance, Facinelli, headed to the comment section and jokingly wrote, "You’re pregnant?
