<p>Dr. Sushrut Singh highlighted that there are primarily four types of hepatitis viruses. "Hepatitis A and E cause acute illness while Hepatitis virus B and C cause Chronic Hepatitis and Cirrhosis," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hepatitis A and E: Dr. Singh noted that these viruses cause acute illnesses and are usually self-limiting, meaning they resolve on their own. Symptoms may include low-grade fever, body pain, fatigue, and jaundice. While severe liver infection or failure may require hospitalisation, most cases do not require admission, he adds.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hepatitis B and C: These viruses can cause chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis. Unlike Hepatitis A and E, they don't typically cause acute disease. Patients at risk for Hepatitis B and C include intravenous drug abuse, individuals with high-risk sexual behavior (unprotected sex with multiple partners), patients requiring dialysis or recurrent blood transfusions, infants born to infected mothers, and partners of infected patients.</p>

<p>Dr. Singh said that early diagnosis is essential in managing hepatitis effectively.&nbsp;</p>

The contract signed today is for the first six, which will be followed by 36 others."&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Arms export to Greece&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>In 2021, Greece signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the supply of three FDI HN frigates built by the French shipbuilder Naval Group. It was part of an elevation of the ties between the countries to a strategic level.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Poland and France deals</strong></h2>

<p>In an agreement signed between Poland and France, Warsaw will get two reconnaissance satellites and a receiving station from France in 2027. However, as per the deal, Poland was said to have access to satellite imagery from an immediate basis.&nbsp;</p>

Rafale jet sales make France's arms exports soar to record high

<p>New research suggests that boys who experience the death of a parent may face more challenges in their later life compared to girls. The study, published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, investigated the effects of parental death before the age of 21 on the mental health and economic prospects of young individuals, irrespective of their gender.</p>

<p>While both genders suffered adverse effects, boys appeared to be at a higher risk of long-term negative impacts compared to girls.</p>

<p>The estimated odds ratios for various outcomes were consistently larger for males than females. "The associations were negative regardless of the gender of the child or parent, but the estimated odds ratios were usually quantitatively larger for males than females," the report said.&nbsp;The researchers examined data&nbsp;of nearly one million individuals in Finland who had attained a minimum age of 30 by the year 2016. Amongst them, approximately 145,673 had experienced the loss of a parent before reaching the age of 31.</p>

<p>According to their findings, regardless of gender, those who had lost a parent before the age of 21 tended to have fewer years of formal education, lower annual income, and experienced more periods of unemployment between the ages of 26 and 30.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The peer-reviewed study stated: “We documented significant increases in mental health-related hospitalisations and the use of mental health-related medications and sickness absence, as well as substantial reductions in years of schooling, employment, and earnings for the affected children in adulthood. Mental health disorders and adverse labour-market outcomes are likely to be interrelated.”</p>

<h2><strong>Impact on mental health</strong></h2>

<p>Males and females who lost a parent early in life had increased odds of being admitted to the hospital due to mental health disorders. However, males who experienced the death of their mother before the age of 21 had notably higher odds of hospitalisation due to intentional self-harm compared to those who experienced maternal death later in life.</p>

<p>Sadly, the man who was shot was unresponsive when the police arrived and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time, and there were no other reported injuries.</p>

<p>Acting Chief Pamela Smith, recently appointed as the leader of the Metropolitan Police Department, provided an update to the press near the crime scene.</p>

<p>A group of MPs from the opposition alliance INDIA will visit Manipur on July 29 and 30 to assess the situation in the northeastern state which has been engulfed in ethnic violence since May 3.</p>

<p>The delegation of more than 20 opposition MPs will visit Manipur this weekend and will take a first-hand account of the situation in the state, Congress whip in Lok Sabha Manickam Tagore told PTI.</p>

<p>Sources said that one MP each from parties of INDIA bloc or their representatives are expected to be part of the delegation.</p>

<p>The delegation will visit both the valley and the hill regions of the state and meet different communities there. They will also visit some relief camps.</p>

<p>TMC's Sushmita Dev, JMM's Mahua Maji and NCP's Vandana Chavan are likely to be part of the delegation.</p>
