<p>By employing artificial intelligence, the researchers decoded and subsequently reproduced the sounds and words from the brain recordings.&nbsp;Although the reconstructed song displayed a somewhat muffled quality. “It sounds a bit like they’re speaking underwater, but it’s our first shot at this,” said Knight.</p>

<p>But on the bright side, the phrase "All in all, it's just another brick in the wall" was discernible with rhythms and melody. It represented a notable achievement in this pioneering endeavour.</p>

<p>Promptly responding to the alert, the SDRF team arrived at the scene. The SDRF managed to successfully rescue three people from the debris. They immediately transferred them to a nearby medical facility.</p>

But now a new wave of challenges has emerged which, if anything, only further compounds the island's struggle. In a disturbing trend, looters are now reportedly attempting to capitalise on the wildfire tragedy, media reports said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Reports highlight several instances of desperate individuals raiding the few surviving businesses in Lahaina. A 48-year-old resident Bryan Sizemore, who runs a business on the island, said that he recently encountered looters who had him at gunpoint as they tried to rob&nbsp;some items and gas from his premises.</p>

<p>It is worth noting that with the absence of basic resources, some individuals have reportedly resorted to extreme measures to sustain themselves.&nbsp;</p>

<p>His 28-year-old son Darian Dalili, who lives in Massachusetts, said he drove to Washington upon hearing about the deal made public Thursday in which five US citizens are expected to be freed, saying it was "heartbreaking" his father was not mentioned.</p>

<p>It feels "as if my plight and my family's plight apparently don't matter. I don't know how else to put it," said Darian Dalili, who is a US citizen and said his father would have been as well "if he hadn't been taken hostage."</p>

<p>Dalili received a phone call from Tehran's Evin prison from his father, who initially tried to change his son's mind about going on a hunger strike but then decided to do the same.</p>

<p>The younger Dalili, who has set himself up in Lafayette Park outside the White House, said he has only been consuming water since Saturday.</p>

<p>Abram Paley, the State Department's acting special envoy on Iran, has spoken to the Dalili family but Shahab Dalili has not been formally designated as wrongfully detained, State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said.</p>
