Nadim claimed that there are ongoing efforts to dismantle the existing system, ostensibly due to concerns related to women's issues. The minister said that according to Sharia and Allah's decrees, men and women are not considered equals.</p>

<p>He argued that, despite Western nations' efforts to promote gender equality, men and women are fundamentally unequal in the eyes of Allah.</p>

<p>Nadim, a former governor and military commander, has made a solemn commitment to eradicate the modern secular education that gained prominence in Afghanistan following the US-led invasion in 2001, which led to the downfall of the Taliban's initial regime.</p>

<p>He has also expressed strong opposition to the education of girls and women, deeming it inconsistent with Islamic principles and Afghan cultural values.</p>

‘Women must accept it's a man’s world’: Taliban education minister promotes gender inequality

<p>Puneet Khanna, the driving force behind the Hariawal Punjab Society NGO, and a multitude of volunteers are on a mission to transform the landscape of the Indian state of Punjab and combat the looming threat of climate change. They are leading the charge, demonstrating that grassroots efforts and community involvement can make a significant impact in the battle against climate change.&nbsp;Puneet shared his thoughts on the ambitious milestones the NGO strives to achieve.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The main motto of the Hariawal Punjab under the Hariawal Society NGO is to increase the green cover in Punjab. The green cover in Punjab is nearly 4 per cent, and we are trying to boost that. Till now, we have planted about 15 lakh (1.5 million) saplings till 2023. We are working on three things: tree plantation, water conservation, and waste management."</p>

<p>Puneet's passion for the environment was evident as he continued, "We have planted 100 plus micro forests. Need and fear are the two guiding factors in our lives, and everyone joins our group with this concept. Punjab's population is around 3 crores, and it is our goal is that everyone grows at least one plant every year and takes care of it. When the green cover increases, it will bring stability to the environment."</p>

<p>They mostly grow native trees such as the sacred fig (peepal), margosa (neem), and banyan (bargad).&nbsp;Puneet added, "We also plant Moringa Oleifera (Sahijana), a traditional medicinal tree which has long been used to treat various ailments. This plant has the efficiency to cure more than 300 diseases. We also plant Indian rosewood (sheesham), Java Plum (jaamun), and mango (aam) trees. We do the plantation in the rainy season for four months."</p>

<p>Their innovative approach extended to the community with initiatives like Har Ghar Nursery.</p>

<p>Puneet explained, "Many families, who are associated with us, plant mango seeds, Jamun and drake. They plant over a hundred saplings on their house roofs and then give them to us."</p>

<p>Planting such a large number of saplings, however, comes with its challenges.</p>

<p>The environmental activist said, "There is always a challenge whenever we do selfless service. This is volunteer work, and we do not take any funding from anyone. Time management is also a challenge, considering our studies, jobs, and time for family. Several sacrifices are made. When we kicked off this initiative, it was a challenge to find safe places and get people onboard as volunteers."</p>

<p>Despite these hurdles, their dedication prevailed.</p>

<p>"We have a good network now. We also check timely as to how many saplings that we planted have survived. Sacred fig (Peepal), margosa (neem), and Banyan (Bargad) are the longest-living plants and they live for thousands of years. It helps with absorbing carbon emissions and maintaining water level."</p>

<p>Looking to the future, Puneet shared insights into their vision, "We work on water conservation and how can we make every house equipped with rainwater harvesting. We organise workshops and programmes. We rejuvenate the old lakes aggressively, promoting drip irrigation and saving water at households and social places."</p>

<p>But their commitment to the environment didn't stop there.</p>

<p>Puneet pointed out at the need for waste management, saying, "If we reduce non-recyclable poly bags from circulation, there will be much more waste conservation. Single-use non-recyclable plastics are harmful. Microplastics have reached the placentas of unborn babies. There is a need for the segregation of waste and recycling of their envelopes. We also promoted eco-bricks. We call it 'act of survival'."</p>

<p>He pointed out the stark reminder of the consequences of inaction, "If we don't do this, groundwater which is being extracted from the third ground layer in Punjab will exhaust. There are lakhs of tubewells in Punjab. There is wastage of water everywhere, including in households and industries."</p>

Puneet shared his thoughts on the ambitious milestones the NGO strives to achieve. "The main motto of the Hariawal Punjab under the Hariawal Society NGO is to increase the green cover in Punjab. The green cover in Punjab is nearly 4 per cent, and we are trying to boost that. Till now, we have planted about 15 lakh (1.5 million) saplings till 2023. We are working on three things: tree plantation, water conservation, and waste management." Need and fear are the two guiding factors in our lives, and everyone joins our group with this concept. When the green cover increases, it will bring stability to the environment." They mostly grow native trees such as the sacred fig (peepal), margosa (neem), and banyan (bargad). Puneet added, "We also plant Moringa Oleifera (Sahijana), a traditional medicinal tree which has long been used to treat various ailments. This plant has the efficiency to cure more than 300 diseases. We also plant Indian rosewood (sheesham), Java Plum (jaamun), and mango (aam) trees. We do the plantation in the rainy season for four months." Puneet explained, "Many families, who are associated with us, plant mango seeds, Jamun and drake. They plant over a hundred saplings on their house roofs and then give them to us." Planting such a large number of saplings, however, comes with its challenges. The environmental activist said, "There is always a challenge whenever we do selfless service. This is volunteer work, and we do not take any funding from anyone. Time management is also a challenge, considering our studies, jobs, and time for family. Several sacrifices are made. When we kicked off this initiative, it was a challenge to find safe places and get people onboard as volunteers." Despite these hurdles, their dedication prevailed. "We have a good network now. We also check timely as to how many saplings that we planted have survived. Sacred fig (Peepal), margosa (neem), and Banyan (Bargad) are the longest-living plants and they live for thousands of years. It helps with absorbing carbon emissions and maintaining water level." Looking to the future, Puneet shared insights into their vision, "We work on water conservation and how can we make every house equipped with rainwater harvesting. We organise workshops and programmes. We rejuvenate the old lakes aggressively, promoting drip irrigation and saving water at households and social places." But their commitment to the environment didn't stop there. Puneet pointed out at the need for waste management, saying, "If we reduce non-recyclable poly bags from circulation, there will be much more waste conservation. Single-use non-recyclable plastics are harmful. Microplastics have reached the placentas of unborn babies. There is a need for the segregation of waste and recycling of their envelopes. We also promoted eco-bricks. We call it 'act of survival'." He pointed out the stark reminder of the consequences of inaction, "If we don't do this, groundwater which is being extracted from the third ground layer in Punjab will exhaust. There are lakhs of tubewells in Punjab. There is wastage of water everywhere, including in households and industries." <p>Due to the highly hazardous air conditions in the northeastern area of Teutopolis as per authorities, they ordered an evacuation within a roughly one-mile radius surrounding the crash site.</p>

<p>The cessation of female IDF soldiers' service in security prisons has faced consistent advocacy, including from Ben Gvir. Yet, the move has encountered delays due to the challenge of finding suitable personnel to replace the female soldiers.</p>

<p>According to Israeli media, Ben-Gvir asserted that by mid-2025, "not a single female soldier will remain in the security prisoners' wings."</p>

<p>The guard's attorney contended that the inmate coerced his client into an involuntary relationship. However, Times of Israel while quoting a high-ranking police official who spoke with Ynet said that the evidence pointed in a different direction.</p>

<p>Perry termed the incident “severe" and said that IPS is ready to “take all necessary steps and have zero tolerance for instances of [violating] moral values.”</p>

Then, in a subsequent attempt to conceal his heinous crime, he dismembered her body and turned it into mincemeat. The Russian murderer confessed to these horrific actions while turning himself in, describing the gruesome process of butchering and disposing of the victim's remains.</p>

<p>“I butchered her body, ran it through a meat grinder, collected the bones in&nbsp;three bags, and threw them in the river,” the media outlet reported while quoting Zelensky.</p>

<p>“Paying close attention to the construction goals and timeline of the G60 Starlink project, we have worked hard to roll out investment and help boost technology transfer in the sector,” a representative from Shanghai Alliance Investment said.</p>

<h2><strong>Project milestones</strong></h2>

<p>In July, Cheng announced that experimental satellites had already been launched and successfully interconnected in space. The project's initial phase is aimed to deploy nearly 1,300 satellites into orbit.</p>

China pushes for second 12,000-satellite megaconstellation to challenge SpaceX dominance

<p>Environmental activists have strongly criticised a luxurious private jet service catering to affluent dog owners. The service by a company, known as K9 Jets, recently completed its maiden flight from Dubai to London, as per the Guardian.&nbsp;For a steep one-way fee of £8,166, passengers had the privilege of flying with their dogs in the lap of luxury. They enjoyed their champagne on board the Gulfstream IV-SP jet with their canines by their side.&nbsp;</p>

<p>K9 Jets, operated by a husband-and-wife team from Birmingham, already offers similar services to destinations including New Jersey, Los Angeles, Frankfurt, Paris, and Lisbon.</p>

<p>“This is clear evidence that super-wealthy people are still capable of loving an animal like one of their own, which strangely offers me some sense of hope. Yet I’m left dumbfounded that the same people cannot connect to the collapsing natural world around them, and thus come to their senses,” the XR spokesperson Todd Smith said.&nbsp;</p>

For a steep one-way fee of £8,166, passengers had the privilege of flying with their dogs in the lap of luxury. They enjoyed their champagne on board the Gulfstream IV-SP jet with their canines by their side. K9 Jets, operated by a husband-and-wife team from Birmingham, already offers similar services to destinations including New Jersey, Los Angeles, Frankfurt, Paris, and Lisbon. Environmental concerns Extinction Rebellion (XR), a prominent climate protest group, denounced K9 Jets' service, deeming it "ludicrous." “This is clear evidence that super-wealthy people are still capable of loving an animal like one of their own, which strangely offers me some sense of hope. Yet I’m left dumbfounded that the same people cannot connect to the collapsing natural world around them, and thus come to their senses,” the XR spokesperson Todd Smith said. The company defended its service, asserting that seat prices were in line with cargo rates for dogs accompanying their owners on flights. Furthermore, K9 Jets claimed to operate flights at capacity.
