The petitioners had requested to link the metro cards with the address and identity proof. The request was made to make sure that a right to ownership can be claimed over the metro cards and tokens, in case it is stolen or lost.

They also stated that it will help the government keep a track of commuters in the pandemic situation.

The bench consisted of Justice Manmohan and Justice Sanjeev Narula. The bench has asked the petitioners to to first move the representation before the DMRC on this issue.

In case the petitioners move a representation to the DMRC, it is supposed to dispose of the plea within four weeks by a reasoned order after taking inputs from authorities concerned.

Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) officials had&nbsp;installed an ultra violet disinfection chamber at the Cochin International Airport in Kerala. The chamber was used to disinfect the baggage coming at the airport. The chamber has been developed by a laboratory in Cochin.

These flights are being operated under the Vande Bharat Mission. The aviation company&nbsp;is using Air India Express IX419 to bring back stranded Indian nationals.&nbsp;

Murad Ali Shah, Sindh's Chief Minister informed in a press conference that out of the 2,069 Pakistan nationals who returned from the Middle East to the southern province of Sindh, more than 500 tested positive.

In the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a senior government official told AFP that more than 200 of the 1,600 passengers repatriated to the city of Peshawar had tested positive.

A total of 110,000 more have registered to come back to the country; this is in addition to the 20,000 citizens&nbsp;who have already been brought home. According to officials, approximately&nbsp;4.5 million Pakistanis work in the Middle East.

"Our ministry of foreign affairs has raised this issue with those countries and we are finding ways so it should not happen again," Moeed Yusuf, Prime Minister's special assistant on national security told the media while explaining how&nbsp;on some flights half the passengers were already infected.

Pakistan has been struggling to fight the virus, as the Pakistan's Army had to take control of the streets to make sure people adhere to lockdown regulations.

On Thursday,&nbsp;an entomologist at the Washington State Department of agriculture took media personnel on a tour of the traps that have been set up.

The programme takes a cue from Japan and Korea where the species have been around for a long time.

"As gruesome as that sounds, that's our goal, to kill these off and keep them from establishing in Washington State," said Dr. Chris Looney, an&nbsp;Entomologist.

The Asian giant hornets are also called Murder Hornets.&nbsp;Experts say multiple stings can be fatal. Group attacks can produce toxic venom equal to that of a venomous snake.

"If you sustain multiple stings, the necrosis and the venom will actually start getting into your bloodstream and will start working on your organs. And multiple stings could literally be fatal and have been fatal," said&nbsp;Sven-Erik Spichiger.

It is in his home country that Zara's philanthropy begins and ends. Zara has stores across the world. But Iniditex has just 13 factories at home--&nbsp;in Spain.

It is in these countries that Zara gets most of its garments made. SImply because of cheap labour. But, Zara has mistaken cheap labour for exploitation.

While the brand was donating medical supplies in Spain, its workers in Myanmar were not even given masks. When they asked for it, they were fired. At least 500 workers in Zara's myan mode factory were laid off in the middle of the pandemic.

Zara's workers are under-paid. In the factories of Myanmar people work 11-hours shifts, for six days a week. They are paid as little as 3 and a half to 5 dollars a day.

The tales of horror go beyond the continent.

In 2015, Zara was accused of discriminating &nbsp;against black employees. The condition in Zara's Brazil factories were likened to slavery.

In 2017, workers making clothes for Zara in Turkey began sewing pleas into clothes. The tags complained of underpayment.

Inditex has also been accused of tax evasion. Zara's owner, Amancio Ortega, is a hero in Spain. The country's leadership wear his brand.

In march this year, thousands of Spaniards came out in their balconies to wish him a happy birthday. But it was around the same time, Zara's workers, outside the country, were complaining of an unsafe working environment.

India commenced its biggest evacuation operation on Thursday. The repatriation operation has been&nbsp;started by government of India with Air India to bring back Indian nationals stranded abroad.

Air India will be bringing back almost 14,600 Indians back to the country in 64 flights, within the first week of operation. The main focus is to bring back Indians from the Gulf countries&nbsp;where 3 lakh people are stranded, Air India will also be operating evacuation flights to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait, Muscat, Bahrain, Malaysia, Philippines, Bangladesh, the US and the UK.

Till now, three days after bookings opened, a total of 67,833 requests have been registered for repatriation. These requests are from students, migrant workers, short-term visa holders faced with expiry of visas and also patients seeking treatment for terminal illness and other medical emergencies.

First two flights landed in Kerala on Thursday night.&nbsp;The first repatriation flight brought back around 175 stranded Indians from Abu Dhabi and landed in Kochi around 10:15pm(local time) on Thursday.&nbsp;The second flight landed at Kozhikode airport at 11:30pm, which brought back close to 400 Indian from Dubai.

Air India AI381 flight&nbsp;from Singapore also landed in Delhi around 12pm on Friday.&nbsp;

Around 150 Indians who have lost their jobs in&nbsp;Riyadh in Saudi Arabia have boarded the flight which is expected to land tonight .

As of 7pm on Friday, 177 Indian from Bahrain have completed their check-in from the Manama International airport, and the flight will soon take off&nbsp;to reach Kochi tonight.

Guidelines for returnees

Keeping in mind that some of these returnees will need to quarantine themselves, the Health Ministry has issued additional guidelines for facility quarantine / isolation. The passengers who will be suspected or confirmed cases of coronavirus will be quarantined in alloted private facilities like hotels, service apartments, lodges etc.

As per the guidelines, the facility owners will have to declare whether they want to have their facility has quarantine zone or isolation zones, as both cannot be in one facility.&nbsp;

A single-occupancy room with attached washrooms on paid basis will be alloted to cases. The tariff of the room will have to be decided in consultation with the government.

Other than this, Wi-Fi has to be provided to the returnees. The food has to be sent to the rooms on time and the confirmed cases should not be allowed to meet any visitors or come in contact with anyone except the medical experts. A trained doctor and nurse have to be appointed by every facility.
