The first phase would last for six weeks and include a "full and complete ceasefire," the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas of Gaza, and the release of 33 Israeli hostages on October 7 by the Hamas group, including women, the elderly, and the wounded, in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.&nbsp;

The United States finalised a rule Tuesday (Jan 14) effectively barring Chinese technology from cars in the American market, taking aim at software and hardware from the world's second-biggest economy over national security risks.

The people migrating to RedNote have been calling themselves "TikTok refugees". The app has now become the most downloaded app on Apple's US App Store.&nbsp;
The app, which means "Little Red Book", came to the top position on Apple's US App Store on Tuesday.

In 2007, the cleric delivered an address at the Democratic National Committee&rsquo;s winter meeting and allegedly suggested that US forces were &ldquo;oppressors and occupiers.&rdquo; Later, he clarified that he was not referring to US forces when he asked almighty God to &ldquo;help us to stop the war and violence, and oppression and occupation&rdquo;.
Later, during a TV show, Al-Husainy refused to admit that Hezbollah is a terrorist organisation, as designated by the US in 1997. &ldquo;Hezbollah is a Lebanese organisation. And I&rsquo;ve got nothing to do with that,&rdquo; the cleric said in response.
