An Islamic marriage ceremony for the 32-year-old&nbsp;prince&nbsp;and Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah, 29, was held inside a gold-domed mosque in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan.

Mateen&nbsp;is the 10th child of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah -- the world's longest reigning monarch and once the richest man on the planet -- and is well down the succession pecking order.

His bride -- the granddaughter of one of his father's key advisers and a member of a prominent family in Brunei -- reportedly has a fashion brand and co-owns a tourism business.

Mateen, wearing a traditional white outfit decorated with diamond-shaped motifs and a matching headpiece, was driven to the mosque in a luxury saloon.

He sat on an elevated yellow cushion in front of an imam who presided over the male-only ceremony attended by the sultan and other relatives and guests.&nbsp;

After a 17-gun salute,&nbsp;Mateen&nbsp;approached his father and held his hand as the sultan recited a prayer for the royal couple. He then bowed, touching his father's hand with his forehead. &nbsp;

As the motorcade left the mosque,&nbsp;Mateen&nbsp;waved to onlookers standing in the tropical heat.

FBI has arrested 29-year-old Texas man Arthur Hector Fernandez III, a former employee of the Houston Galleria, for filming himself, along with six others, while they gang-rape two toddlers in a restroom of the popular shopping mall.

This came after an&nbsp;investigation by the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) which discovered videos on the dark web. Subsequently, the centre provided the evidence to the FBI.

According to authorities, the heinous acts occurred within public restrooms of the Houston Galleria, a well-known shopping destination in the US state of Texas.

Fernandez has been charged with the sexual exploitation of children. The victims, aged 2 and 3, were identified in the disturbing videos. One of the videos depicts a male toddler on a changing table in a public restroom, being assaulted while Fernandez allegedly records the act.&nbsp;In three other videos, a second toddler is shown on a changing table, with multiple men, including Fernandez. Fernandez was part of the act which was caught on at least two of these recordings.

The FBI, through a meticulous investigation, identified Fernandez by analysing videos and the clothing worn by the victims. Additionally, Fernandez's silver bracelets, noticed by relatives of the toddlers, played a crucial role in linking him to the crimes.

Relatives of the first toddler revealed that Fernandez offered to babysit during an unexpected work situation. This was the only time the child was alone with Fernandez, media reports said citing court documents.&nbsp;

Records indicate that the incidents involving the first toddler occurred on May 6 in a Galleria bathroom.&nbsp;

A rare North Atlantic right whale calf seen off the coast of South Carolina, will probably succumb to the fatal injuries it sustained on its head, mouth, and lips likely caused by a boat propeller, said&nbsp;officials.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released a statement on Wednesday (Jan 10) saying that the calf, which was spotted with its mother on Jan 3 and had serious injuries, "is likely to die as a result".

The videos uploaded by people on the internet, according to the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), revealed that the calf had several propeller wounds on its head, mouth, and left lip.&nbsp;

The injuries that are&nbsp;caused by a vessel’s propeller&nbsp;could hinder the calf's capacity to nurse.

As of January 10, the calf had not been located.

"Blunt force trauma, lacerations, and death are likely outcomes of a collision with a vessel," IFAW animal rescue veterinarian Dr Sarah Sharp said in a statement. "Vessels of all sizes are at risk of harming the critically endangered right whale."

"This serious injury and likely death of this critically endangered calf is utterly tragic but completely avoidable," IFAW Senior Campaign Manager Kathleen Collins said in a statement.

"Collisions with vessels are one of the leading causes of death for the North Atlantic right whale. Being aware while on the water and slowing vessels down when whales are in the area is the best way to save this critically endangered species," Collins further said.

According to scientists, North Atlantic right whales typically feed and breed within 30 miles of Atlantic Canada and the US East Coast. Due to habitat overlap with shipping channels and other human activities, the critically endangered species is susceptible to vessel strikes and entrapment in fishing gear.

“These are identifiable, preventable threats, and they’re caused by humans,” said Regina Asmutis-Silvia, executive director and senior biologist at Whale and Dolphin Conservation. “So there’s somewhat of a responsibility for us to mitigate them.”

For centuries, the whales' slow cruising speed, tendency to drift when harpooned, and dense blubber that is used in soaps, leathers, and cosmetics, made them easy prey for whalers. The species was first hunted in the 9th century, which continued thereafter until it was prohibited in the year 1935 to tackle its declining population.&nbsp;

However, human caused incidents in the ocean continue to put the species at risk. Scientists estimate that there are fewer than 360 right whales left alive in the North Atlantic.&nbsp;
