The fence, which was 20 metres long and 2.5 metres high, was removed on August 15. Originally taken down as a precaution due to a typhoon forecast, town officials have decided to keep it down for now.

However, town officials&nbsp;have warned&nbsp;that the barrier could be reinstated if the area once again becomes overcrowded with tourists. "We wanted to see what would happen," an official told&nbsp;news agency AFP.

"There are still some people who visit the spot, but we no longer see crowds suddenly rushing into the street. We believe the measure has been effective," the official added.

Despite these challenges, officials report that the screen has helped reduce congestion in the area.

Then called the Quetelet Index, it was a means of discovering the socially ideal human person. Now, it is used to devise the ideal weight.

However, its validity and effectiveness have been a subject of debate among health professionals and researchers.

While BMI provides a simple and quick way to assess weight-related health risks, it comes with many limitations.

One major criticism of BMI is its reliance solely on weight and height, without considering other important factors, such as muscle mass, bone density, and distribution of fat.&nbsp;

This means that individuals with a high muscle mass, such as athletes, may be classified as overweight or obese, despite being in excellent health. Similarly, older adults and those with different ethnic backgrounds may not be accurately assessed by BMI due to variations in body composition.

As per Veena V, Chief Clinical Dietitian at Aster Whitefield Hospital, even those with the appropriate BMI measurement can have health problems like fatty liver.&nbsp;

She notes that BMI can also vary between different ethnicities. Comparing the diet in India and abroad, she said that in India, several people consume food that can lead to added fat around the waist. This is often considered unhealthy, but that isn't always the case.

Being told that you are overweight or obese based on a numerical value can lead to feelings of shame, guilt, and low self-esteem. Giovanni Constantino, CEO of the Italian Sea Group, told the Italian public broadcaster RAI, that the storm on Monday had been expected.&nbsp;

"The ship sank because it took on water. From where? Investigators will have to say," he told television news programme TG1.

The prosecutors have now opened an investigation into the sinking and witnesses have begun to be questioned, including the vessel's captain James Cutfield. However, no official cause for the disaster has been mentioned yet.&nbsp;

Constantino told Sky News there were no flaws with the design and construction of the Bayesian and vessels like the stricken superyacht were "unsinkable".

The operation has taken a huge mental and physical toll on the divers, including salvaging victims' bodies from the wreckage has&nbsp;caused huge amounts of psychological stress, former Royal&nbsp;Navy submarine captain Ryan Ramsey told Sky News.&nbsp;

"It's been exceptionally stressful for them both mentally and physically," he said.&nbsp;

He further said that along with the mental impact, the process of diving into the wreck and coming to the surface repeatedly will have been "exceptionally tiring for them".&nbsp;
