<p>Women and girls are already prohibited from several things including going to school under the Taliban regime. These new laws will further intimidate Afghan women to fight for basic rights.</p>

<p>Kamala Harris' mother Shyamala Gopalan was a breast cancer specialist who moved abroad from Tamil Nadu in 1960 to pursue a doctorate in endocrinology at the University of California Berkeley.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Gopalan earned her doctorate by age 25 and went on to become a prominent breast cancer researcher. At Berkeley, she met Harris’ father, Donald Harris, whom she married in 1963 and divorced in 1971.</p>

<p>The estimated cost of the treatment is approximately £21,000 ($27,527). When IV drip administration and monitoring side effects are taken into account, the final costs climb higher.</p>

<p>Hilary Evans-Newton, the chief executive at Alzheimer’s Research UK, told the Telegraph, "It’s clear our health system isn’t ready to embrace this new wave of Alzheimer’s drugs."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bhatt was invited to the stage following the striking of the gavel and delivered the prayers before the delegates in Sanskrit and later explained their significance in English.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bhatt also invoked the concept of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" which translates to "the whole world is one family" and&nbsp;urged Maerica to choose a leader who believes in the Vedic concept.&nbsp;</p>
