Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim sang the Indian movie song ''Dost dost na raha''sung by renowned singer Mukesh while bidding farewell in Delhi.

Malaysian PM Ibrahim was on a state visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from August 19 to 21. It was his first visit to the South Asian region, where the two leaders discussed several areas that make India-Malaysia relations multi-layered and multi-faceted.
PM Ibrahim was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan; Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz; Minister of Tourism, Art & Culture, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing; Minister of Digital, Gobind Singh Deo and Minister of Human Resources, Steven Sim.

Upon arrival, he received a ceremonial welcome at the Forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 20.
Both noted with great satisfaction the deep routed ties of friendship and social-cultural linkages between the two nations.
They held discussions on the entire range of bilateral cooperation, including political, defence and security cooperation. They also signed MoUs on cooperation in the fields of Recruitment, Employment and Repatriation of Workers; Ayurveda and other Traditional Systems of Medicines; Digital Technologies; Culture, Arts and Heritage; Tourism; Public Administration and Governance Reforms; Youth and Sports; and Financial Services between Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA) and International Financial Services Centres Authority, India (IFSCA).
Malaysian PM Ibrahim thanked PM Modi for the hospitality and invited him to undertake a visit to Malaysia in the near future,
