U.S.- Venezuela: Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has cited the 'fog of war' to defend the controversial US military strike on a Venezuelan drug boat, which resulted in the deaths of several individuals. Hegseth stated that the chaotic nature of combat operations can lead to unintended consequences and that such incidents are sometimes unavoidable.
