Several districts across Telangana are reeling under an intense heatwave, with temperatures crossing 45 degrees Celsius in many areas. The India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert, warning residents about severe heat conditions and possible health risks. Adilabad recorded some of the highest temperatures in the state as authorities urged people to avoid unnecessary outdoor activity, stay hydrated and take precautions against heatstroke.
