The Madras High Court has now restrained the elected MLA from voting in the assembly floor test, amid concerns over possible errors in postal vote allocation between Tiruppattur constituencies.
The razor-thin margin has intensified political tensions, with the DMK claiming that if one disputed vote is counted differently, the result could even lead to a tie — potentially decided by a coin toss.
